Love it
I don't understand the poor reviews. I think I've found my go-to mascara with this product. It goes on well without clumping, one coat is enough, and no flaking. It doesn't burn my very sensitive eyes (I have clinical dry eye) and is easy to remove with my eye cleanser or facial cleanser. I don't have an issue with the thick brush because many brands have and I'm used to it. I noticed there's a Very Black but didn't choose it because it's waterproof. Perhaps clearer signage to make sure customers purchase the correct one. Waterproof mascara performs differently and usually requires an oil-based remover to cleanse. I chose black which is not waterproof and I really like it. My new go-to.

very disappointed
I have been using Covergirl products for over 30 years and usually love all the products- but recently I purchased the lash blast clean and I am so disappointed in this product- the wand seems to hold too much mascara- it is very clumpy and I get more mascara on my skin then on my lashes- it takes me so long to put on my mascara now as I have to keep getting a Qtip to clean up the mess-- I have tried to use the product for about a week but I am getting very frustrated- looks like I will have to through the product in the garbage

A favourite of mine
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Full disclosure- I have been a fan of this mascara since it first came out, so when I got the chance to #tryitfree it was just a bonus for me! The wand is chunky, so if you're not a fan of thicker applicators I would steer clear- but in my opinion the chunkiness is offset by the shorter bristles. The brush doesn't pick up a lot of mascara which is GREAT when you want to decide how dramatic you're going with your lashes that day. One coat gives you a perfect daily cover, especially for blonde lashes like mine. I'm a huge fan, this is a staple in my basic kit for sure!

Great formula but applicator brush sucks
Was excited to try this new mascara formula. I usually buy the Covergirl Clump Crusher (Green Tube) but wanted to try the Lash Blast Clean formula. I loved the consistency and day long wear of this new formula but I couldn't stand the applicator brush, it holds onto waaay too much product out of the tube thus appling far too much product to the lashes making it look clumpy and sticks multiple lashes together. I wish they had the same brush as the Clump Crusher, for this reason I won't be repurchasing.

Not happy
I bought this mascara last week and was very happy to find vegan formula. It doesn’t stand up. It goes on nice. Love the fullness but it flakes off after a very short time. I wear contacts and it flakes into them

In good conscience, cannot recommend
Haunted by my experience trying to remove this-- something that only a combination of micellar water, vaseline, eye lotion, some vigorous scrubbing, and time itself was able to accomplish. Strange wand that both applied product all around my eye and carefully crafted my lashes into four, thick, congealed spider legs (per eye, to be fair). Pretty confident this is not user error as I've used many mascaras successfully and this one was uniquely bad.

Great mascara
This mascara makes my lashes gorgeous and doesn’t flake or smudge all day long. Since its long-lasting and waterproof, you can even wear it in the pool or on the beach without worry of it running or smudging. It's lightweight and glides on effortlessly, leaving your lashes long and full. Because of it’s waterproof formula, it will leave your lashed curled for the whole day. However, the applicator is quite large as you can see in the photo, so it’s a bit hard to avoid getting it on my skin. Overall, I really like that the formula is clean and cruelty free â¤ď¸

Worst mascara I’ve ever used
I got this a bit ago and was excited to use because of the clean features but it was the worst mascara I’ve ever used. It has no volume, I had to do 4-5 coats just to get any sort of volume. It would stain my eyelid within seconds when I messed up I would have to take my eye makeup off because the mascara would smudge and not come off. I’ve used the whole mascara now to give it a full shot and I don’t like to waste but I will never be buying again. If your looking for a clean mascara just to add a little colour then go for it but if you want a mascara to actually extend your lashes I don’t recommend. I have now gone back to my favourite mascara and within just two coats I had more volume and length than I ever got with this mascara. Also I was expecting this to be good for sensitive eyes but it actually iterated my eyes throughout the day and made me tear up by the end of the day.
