Okay, so it smells like molasses. Not everyone is a fan of that smell, and I'm not either. BUT...boy oh boy does it solve the dry winter skin problem. As in, instantly. The concentrations of shea and cocoa are high, and you can tell. If you want something to not only moisturize, naturally, but also feed your skin, this is the thing. The smell dissipates after five minutes or so. I'd have knocked a star off for it, actually, but once the shea butter soaks in, your cracked skin is soothed and healed. Will order again (though maybe a different scent?)

Excellent if you have very dry skin. A little goes a very long way with this product; use a little and massage it into the skin. It does take time to get absorbed into the skin, but it works marvels. Its a butter and butter is and feels greasy for a little while, so apply in the evening and just relax. The scent is quite light and natural.

Very disappointed. Initially has a disgusting, rancid smell which, with time, (20-25 min) will mellow to a oily, plastic smell. It does not absorb unto your skin; just lays on the surface, greasy & shiny - use very, very lightly, otherwise you'll have to shower again.
This is not a creamy, smooth BODY butter - it does not absorb quickly, leaving your skin soft/smooth & deliciously perfumed. This is more like using coconut butter or almond butter (or lard) - it has the same hard-butter consistency that turns to oil when warmed, leaving your skin oily, & in this case, smelly. If you want this type of treatment, use pure sweet almond butter - it's cheaper & does the same thing.
