Ecoideas Cacao is organically grown on an Ecuadorian farm where farmers and workers are paid fair wages. With every cacao purchase, funds are also contributed to support the farmers' local communities. You can truly enjoy your cacao knowing that our entire cacao line is Certified Fair Trade.
These cacao beans are grown organically, then naturally dried and fermented to release their intense chocolate flavour and aroma. The cacao nibs are then removed from the shells, then ground to create a rich, chocolaty powder. In addition to being delicious, cacao powder is also a superfood. It is a source of magnesium and a source of iron.
Suggested Use: Cacao powder is a very versatile ingredient. Use in raw desserts, chocolate bars, smoothies, and homemade hot cacao!
