Sensitive scalp? Less is best! No fragrance, sulphates or coconut oil. Fair trade, low-allergy babassu oil and cocoa butter give weightless nourishment bound by hydrating brassica alcohol.

Guar smooths and betaine (from sugar beets!) is proven to reduce irritation and balance hydration for lush locks and a happy scalp.

Directions: Thoroughly wet your hair. Swipe the bar several times through your roots. Put the bar down. Work the product through your hair, it will lather up! Rinse and follow with conditioner if you need to.

Ingredients: Sodium cocoyl isethionate, sodium cocoyl glycinate, stearic acid, cocoyl methyl glucamide, Theobroma cacao (cocoa) butter, Orbignya oleifera (babassu) seed oil, brassica alcohol, betaine, glycerine, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, mica.

Ethique is 100% palm free. All their ingredients are derived from non-palm sources such as rice bran or coconut oils.

I've searched high and low for a shampoo bar that a) doesn't weigh down my thick hair, b) works well in areas with hard water, and c) unscented for my very sensitive scalp and this product checks all the boxes! There was no transition period where my hair and scalp had to get used to this shampoo format (bottle to bar). I will repurchase this again. Thank you for making it available Well.ca!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unscented, long lasting, could be the shampoo bar for you This is a great shampoo bar, it lathers nicely but not as great as some other brands out there. It really doesn't have any scent which is amazing! I suffer from dry scalp and I had been using it for about 2-3 months with no issues and now I'm finding that my scalp is feeling itchy and looking flaky again :( I am not sure if it's the weather change but I need a shampoo bar that leaves some moisture on my scalp and that will be good all year around. It's a great size bar and dries in between washes.

I was surprised at how well this works: I have very thick hair and usually need two pumps of liquid shampoo to cover my scalp. The bar lathers quickly and penetrates throughout the scalp. Hair is clean and even a bit shiny, not weighed down at all. I'm not sure whether it'll last as long (or longer) than a bottle of shampoo, but I'm thrilled to have a plastic-free option!
