Hershey's Chipits Milk Chocolate Chips

Hershey’s Chipits are Canada’s most loved chocolate chip brand. These milk chocolate chips are made with simple ingredients are always gluten free!

Ingredients: Milk Chocolate [Sugar, Milk Ingredients, Cocoa Butter, Unsweetened Chocolate, Lecithin (Soy), Natural Flavour].

How to make Chipits Chewy Milk Chocolate Cookies:
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Beat 2/3 cup (150 mL) melted butter with 2 cups (500 mL) lightly packed brown sugar, 2 eggs and 2 tbsp (30 mL) hot water until smooth.
  2. Stir 2 2/3 cups (650 mL) all purpose flour with 1 tsp (5 mL) baking powder, 1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda and 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt in a separate bowl. Stir into butter mixture.
  3. Stir in 1 package (270 g) Chipits Milk Chocolate Chips. Drop 1 tbsp (15 mL) portions of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool for 1 minute; transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Makes 5 dozen cookies. (Suggested serving)
Tip: To melt Chipits chips in a microwave, place 1 cup (250 mL) chips in bowl. Microwave on Medium, 2 minutes. Remove; stir until melted.
