Great scent
I recieved this product free to review from #topboxcircle #trywithtopbox. I really enjoy the scent of this shampoo and its builds up to a nice lather. I did find that my hair was less brassy but it also was left feeling very dry. Thank you Topbox and John Frieda for this opportunity

I got this product free from TopBox. I am a regular user of this type of shampoo and I was pleasantly surprised. It smelled good my the brassiness was erased from my hair and it left my hair feeling healthy and not dry. I would purchase this product again for sure.

Smells great!
I received this to try from topbox. I was super excited to try a new shampoo for my coloured hair. I’ve used it 5 times so far and I’m really liking it. It leaves my hair soft and smooth but I haven’t noticed a big difference yet with bringing out the blonde. It smells great also!

Love how after just one wash I could see the difference. Ive used other brands and have never had the results I was looking for. I have been lightened my hair blonde for over 39 years and uses many purple shampoos. I would and will recommend Violet Crush to any blondes I know.

Unreal Difference in 1 Wash
Bought this 3 days ago and it is without a doubt the best inexpensive purple shampoo out there! Brassy tones were eliminated in just 1 wash (left it in for 3 minutes) and my hair doesn't seem as damaged as it usually does using other brands. Awesome product highly reccommend!

It works just like it claims to!
I have waist length naturally blonde hair that becomes increasingly brassy near the ends. This was my first time using a purple shampoo like this, and after reading the cautions I did a patch test since I have very sensitive skin. I fortunately had no adverse reaction or staining and proceeded to use the very bright purple shampoo. I found it to be very runny and it was a bit messy initially as I ended up with much more product then I had intended. It did lather very well, rinsed out easily leaving my hair and scalp feeling clean with no residue making my hair feel heavy or sticky. As my hair dried I could see the difference, it was more ashy blonde and less brassy after the first use. I was pleasantly surprised how obvious it was to me after just the one use. I have continued to use it can can see the difference in the colour of my hair. I do always use a conditioner and didn't notice that my hair was any dryer than usual. I was supplied this product by Topbox in order to provide an objective review. #trywithtopbox

Blonde highlights
Thanks to Topbox I was given this opportunity to give this a try. At first I was surprised to see purple color in my shower, but washed away fast. When drying my hair I had noticed that my blonde had "cleaner" highlights and it had a nice shine to it. Looked great!

For Daenerys Targaryen Hair, This Is Your Shampoo

For all us blondes that want that cool icy tone, à la Daenerys Targaryen, this product will get us there. The bottle wasn’t kidding when it said that one wash will show results. I used it once and immediately was able to banish a good majority of brassiness and yellow tone to my hair.
This stuff is strong though, so if your hair is porous or a pale, almost white blonde, it may give you silver/gray or lavender undertones. This will wash out, but that just means you need to time how long you leave it in for. Be sure to also wash your hands, as it can stain dry skin.
In terms of the texture, it appears thicker than other purple shampoos, and the colour is a deeper violet as well, almost plum, which allows for a stronger lift. The scent is pleasant, but I didn’t notice it lingering on my hair after washing it out; therefore, those with a sensitive nose shouldn’t worry much.

Lives up to its promises 100%! Bye bye brassy!

I have tried a lot of other purple shampoos that just did not perform at all; no matter how long I left on. The John Frieda Violet Crush intensive Purple Shampoo for blondes is not one of those and will be a staple in my hair product line!
Just after 1 use, the brassy tones in my hair disappeared! Dispensing the product; you can see it's deep purple color (which can discolor your finger nails a little as a heads up; but goes away with a few hand washes) which is a good sign that it will have the results you want to counteract any brassy tones. Easy to use; non drying (sooo important!!) or irritating my skin. Once dry; my hair had a wonderful fresh color to it, with nice icy blonde coloring.
I 100% recommend this product!

My hair always has orange undertones when I color it. Violet crush shampoo toned down those orange hues after a few washes. Hair was soft and left with a pleasant scent. Would recommend

Results wash after wash!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I recieved JF Violet Crush Intensive Shampoo from #topbox to test & review! First off, I was so excited because I have close to platinum professionally coloured hair, and have struggled to find an affordable purple shampoo that is effective without drying out. I find that my hair fades quickly and doesn't hold the bright tone as long as I want. I've tried a number of purple shampoos but so far, the Violet Crush has been my favourite! It seems gentle enough to use regularly versus intermittently. I have noticed a slight drying effect after several weeks of use, but I think thats to be expected with purple shampoos. I did notice a difference after one wash, and wash after wash I haven't been disappointed! Due to the drying effect, I purchased the Violet Crush Intensive Purple Conditioner and look forward to see how they both work together! I've never tried a purple Conditioner before so we shall see!
