Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I’m very happy with this shampoo! Usually purple shampoo is very drying on my hair, but I found this one to be very good. It lathers easily and a little goes a long way. After the first use, I was pleasantly surprised to be left with beautiful silver tones in my hair! I use this shampoo twice a week and the results are there everytime! I absolutely love it and I will repurchase it on my own! Thank you Topbox Circle for sending me this product to try out. I want to try the conditioner out as well, so I will be going to the store to pick that up and see how these two products work together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This shampoo is really amazing good and my blonde it’s radiant again. Its smells very pleasant, not like other toning shampoos that I tried. It’s not drying your hair, the results are absolutely beautiful and I’ll definitely keep using this shampoo. I noticed that my colour looked fresher and it really brought out the tones I was looking for. My highlights look better and brighter than ever. I will absolutely continue to use this line! It is everything I could need in a shampoo and I know it’s going to keep my blonde looking new over time. #trywithtopbox #freesample #freead #tryitwithtopbox

Rated 5 out of 5 by from John Frieda Violet Crush for blondes My first time trying John Frieda Violet Crush shampoo and also the conditioner. My first impression was it is purple! I cautiously applied the product to my hair and hoped for the best. But there was no need, it didn’t leave a purple residue on my hair, hands or towel. After a couple uses I could see that my hair was less brassy. But I’m waiting for my next hair appointment and the grey hairs are noticeable too, for now! I liked the shampoo, it had a great lather and the conditioner made my hair soft and healthy looking. I will continue with both products alternating with my regular products. The price is reasonable. #freeproduct #trywithtopbox

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Drugstore Purple Shampoo (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The John Frieda Violet Crush Purple Shampoo is a great drugstore alternative to salon products. I have tried numerous purple shampoos on the market and this certainly rivals them. You can see through the bottle itself how pigmented the shampoo is. I found that it had a nice light scent, lathered well, and cooled down the brassiness of my blonde. I tend to leave purple shampoo in for about 2-3 mins and alternate between my regular shampoo to prevent dryness and brittleness which can result from purple shampoo (this product also contains sulfates). I received this product free for testing purposes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great toning shampoo (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got this product free from Topbox #trywithtopbox to try and review. Upon opening I found the shampoo had a mild scent and wasn’t unpleasant like some toning shampoos are. Very vibrant purple so i was a little nervous it would be over powering. I left if on for about 5 minutes. While it did stain my hands mildly I found the Change in my hair to be minimal, which works great if you only need a touch of toning. I suspect if you leave it on longer, it will tone even more. After my hair was dry, it wasn’t overly dry feeling or frizzy. It’s a decent toning shampoo and I would use it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Violet Crush (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this product to try from Topbox and since using it a couple of time I can see a difference in the tone of my hair. My hair not only looks healthier but trendy too! However I did not find it to be effective from the first wash as it sates on the packaging but then again everybody’s hair is different and reacts different. I also thing it would’ve been more beneficial to follow with a conditioner because my hair was full of static after drying. Overall this is a great product and I would definitely keep using it; it’s great quality and delivers results! Thank you John Frieda!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great!! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been using this purple shampoo for the last week or so and I found that it has instantly toned my hair. The scent is lovely- a soft floral scent, and the formula is gentle and moisturizing on my processed hair. My hair feels light, soft and nourished after using this shampoo. This product really does work after the first wash, my yellow, brassy tones instantly disappeared and I have been very impressed. This is a great product and I highly recommend! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. #gotitfree #freesample #trywithtopbox #ad #johnfrieda #purpleshampoo

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Couldn't Get Out The Brass (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this as a #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox to try and give my honest opinion. I have very blonde dyed hair and I am constantly battling brassy orange tones. I have used several shampoos for this and some are better than others. Most are more expensive than this product but they are also more effective. This product just did not work on my hair. I tried it a few times with no change. I left it on for at least 5 minutes each time and even used it twice before conditioner and it just wouldn't work. I give it points for being easy to use, nice-smelling and the fact that it doesn't stain hands.
