Great way to get protein
I am on my second jar-loved the first one, but realized close to the end that I should have kept it in the fridge! I should have read the label better! No worries, I composted the bit left, and promptly got myself another. This is now a staple in my home.

Not what I expected
I decided to try the unsweetened hemp protein after enjoying the vanilla flavoured. Not comparable at all in texture and even with all the fruit, the taste is terrible.

Great benefits but terrible flavour
I love that this is a simple plant-based powder that adds protein and fiber to my smoothies and shakes. Unfortunately, the texture is a bit gritty and it has a STRONG vegetal flavour that is hard to disguise. I'll stick to hemp hearts when I finish this container.

One serving is a lot of powder, and this powder tasted disgusting. I have only tried it in my coffee, but I will never do that again! I will try mixing it into a smoothie, in the hopes that the flavour and texture won't be quite so awful. Amazing pure healthy Canadian ingredient, just not at all palatable.

Solid
Neutral flavour on its own. The texture is a little grainy, which is to be expected.
I like to add a plant based milk and a bit of juice. This adds some extra protein, flavour, and smooths out the texture a bit.
