Tough on bacteria. Easy on you.
If you’re not used to sweet-smelling essential oils + tough cleaning power in one, you’re in for a serious surprise. This patented disinfectant formula may smell like heaven, but it cleans like heck, and kills 99.9% of household germs (specifically: influenza A, staphylococcus aureus, salmonella enterica and E. coli). Yet, despite the tough guy routine, it’s gentle on your skin and hard non-porous surfaces. Surprises are nice. Unless you’re a germ.
Ingredients:Thyme oil, Oregano oil, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Citric Acid to buffer, Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate, fragrance oil blend, Water

Had to through it out. Awful smell and it could not be a green product with that stench.
I have purchased this more than once. I love it. I really like this product to clean up the kitchen after cooking with chicken.
WAS a favorite cleaner, then they changed something in the ingredients. Can't stand it now. Hubby said the room smelled like someone messed themselves!!!! Too bad.
This smells like oregano and thyme, which is listed right in the description. I don't think it smells any stronger than any bleach product I have used. It works well, and is a nice alternative to bleach. I am quite impressed with how well it degreases my stove top too.
I used to love this product before they changed the bottle format and obviously the scent. It used to smell strong but it was pleasant and now I can't stand the smell of this. I ended up throwing away my bottle. It stinks! If they go back to the original scent, I will go back, but until then I will not buy this again.
I have been using this kitchen spray for a few weeks now. The first time I sprayed it on my counters I was taken aback by how strong and unpleasant the smell was. I thought there was no way I could actually use it again. However, I gave it another chance and I guess the smell has grown on me. It seems to do a decent enough job at cleaning too. Would I buy it again? Probably not, simply because I'd rather find a spray that cleans and doesn't smell quite as strong.
I disagree about the foul smelling reviews. Most natural cleaners smell meldewy and this one was fine. Not lovely but it wasn't overwhelming nor unpleasent. It works quite well at removing sticky messes from the surfaces of my kitchen and fridge. Also it was fine on every type of surface I tried it on, no staining or pealing off the paint on my backsplash!
This is the most foul smelling cleaning product I have ever tried. So disappointing that Method would put something out like this.
I wish i read the reviews before buying this product ... The smell is truly unbearable ... I dont think i will be using it and will return it if i can :( i love method products but this one is horrible.
I like the product itself, and it cleans well. But as wil other reviews, the smell is horrible. It actually makes me a little sick. When I think of the lavendar smell for some of their other products, I have to wonder why they thought this one would work. Even though the product works well, I avoid using it because of the smell. Sorry Method.
Another great Method product, thanks Well.ca for making it available. I really like how well it cleans and the nice clean smell.
Just lovin' this spray. I used to use Lysol wipes but the Method spray really works. Tough stains and calcium deposits are easily gone, not to mention it smells quite nice. Other products are too perfume-y. This one leaves a clean, fresh scent!
I agree with other reviewers that the smell is nasty BUT it works really well. I use it every day on my Son's high chair tray.
I've been using this product for a couple of years and have been really happy with it until recently. I bought a new bottle and sprayed it over my counter tops. I noticed right away that it smelled different, repulsive actually. Then I saw that it was eating away at my stone counter tops (this had not happened before), when I wiped it off, my counter tops were ruined. My counter is black slate and the Antibac spray etched the stone turning it white. I emailed the company right away and they confirmed my worst fear, the formula had changed recently. The active ingredient used to be Thymol (a component of Thyme Oil) now the active ingredient is Citric Acid - ACID. So it was basically like pouring vinegar or lemon juice all over the counters. The stone refinisher quoted me $800 to refinish the counters so be very CAREFUL if you use this cleaner.
I would not recommend it.
I was really excited about an antibacterial cleaner for the kitchen so I bought two. What horrible scent!! And it takes forever to dissipate. I usually still smell it the next day. I'll use it, as I hate to waste but never again will I buy it. Same goes for the bathroom antibac. Smells the same. Yuck!
Cleans well though.
Works great, scent not for me, I'll order it in a different scent next time.
So disappointed on this one. never buy it again. bought two of this and some other. but this comes a empty bottle. leak to other thing i bought. and the scent was so bad! first time disappointed with method.
Kind of a strong scent that takes a while to dissipate but overall I like the product.
Smells repulsive, but I still feel better about having this cleaning my kitchen counters than any other product.
