Pretty good sub for the real thing
I grew up eating oyster sauce with my Chinese green veggies (gai lan, etc) and in stir-fries and sauces. I haven't purchased it in years since I've been cutting back on sugars and MSG! I couldn't find an oyster sauce that didn't have MSG until I saw this vegan one. I do love mushrooms! Ingredients are far cleaner than traditional brands of oyster sauce. It's not quite like the real oyster sauce, but given the ingredients, it's pretty great and does the job!

I was looking for a vegan alternative to the fish sauce in pad thai and this sauce is perfect. We actually enjoy the pad thai more than when we used real fish sauce because this sauce is way less salty.

Great addition to a gluten free pantry
I knocked down a star because of the expensive price. But I have been looking for a gluten free oyster sauce and I couldn't believe when I came across this. I was skeptical but it's amazing. I'll be using this sparingly in Asian dishes.

Closer to worchestershire than oyster sauce
Not my favourite brand. It seems like it would work in some recipes, but as a substitute for real oyster sauce in traditional Asian dishes, I don't find the flavour profile is close enough.

Clean ingredients and taste pretty good. Just not sure of the consistency, my bottle is very chunky with clumps in it, not sure if this is the way it’s suppose to be.

So TASTY without MSG or sugar. Have used in variety of asain dishes such as stir fry, as a marinade or for grilling. I have bought multiple bottles of this oyster sauce because it is an essential component in my Asian dishes.
