Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Melatonin I Use I have insomnia to fall asleep and stay asleep. My mind races when I hit the pillow. This product I first got from my sleep doctor and have used it for many years. I love that it is a time released capsule so I take it about three hours before bed, so by that time I’m relaxed and ready to fall asleep. Those first few hours are the best sleep hours. I take another medication to stay asleep but wish I only needed the melatonin. Great product! I’ve tried a few others when I ran out of this brand and they did not compare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Melatonin By Far! I’ve used this for years and it is the only one I buy. It works so well to take few hours before bed as it is time released. When I’ve run out and need a few days of another’s usually in caplet form, they do not compare! I cannot fall asleep, not worth taking, I always buy these 3 at a time to ensure always stocked up!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Natural Sleep Aid Due To Menopausal Symptoms I have been having problems staying asleep for the past year due to anxiety and menopausal symptoms. I usually wake up early in the night with hot flashes and I get really anxious not falling back asleep quickly. I've tried different dosage of melatonin (from 1 mg to 10 mg) so that I can take it daily and safely for a longer period of time, and I found the threshold is 3mg. However, I was able to reduce to 2 mg after discovering this timed release melatonin on I still wake up during the night, but I find that I sleep more hours continuously, and was able to go back to sleep easier than before. I would take an additional 1 mg if I have difficulty falling back asleep on certain stressful nights. That way, I will be taking only 3 mg of melatonin on nights whenever I actually need it. For me, 2 mg nightly is enough for now because it is timed release. Also, I am not drowsy in the morning. I will certainly buy more to have on hand once my 1st bottle is used up.
