Up until recently, concentrated DHA supplements were all made from fish. Alternatively, North Coast Naturals has developed Vege DHA using a vegetarian DHA made from algae. Cultivated in an FDA inspected facility, this algae goes through a series of sustainable, all-organic processes to create an oil that delivers the same amount of DHA as fish oil. In addition, Vege DHA is available in Liquid Veggie-Gels vegetarian softgels made from the carrageenan in red seaweed, making it a completely animal-free DHA supplement. Vege DHA has no disagreeable odour, no fishy after taste and is 100% vegetarian.
