Red will fade
Colour fades significantly when put in hot water - even the photograph shows its fade

A little joy to look at in my kitchen
I've been putting off getting a spoon rest forever, but this one is perfect. The shape of the mushroom helps gives options on where to lay my many spoons if I'm getting fancy while cooking various things at once.
