I have been on a long-time hunt for the best natural deodorant, and this is the winner. I love Penny Lane because their products contain only the essential ingredients - no fillers/binders/extras. This does mean that this deodorant has a tendency to be crumbly. However, as long as you only raise the stick minimally, it's fine. If a crack forms in the stick, just press it down with your finger and it will be fixed. I would also recommend brushing off excess powder, if any gets on your skin, or it will end up on the underarm of your shirt. This sounds like a fussy product, but it's really not. It's also totally worth it for an effective, affordable, natural deodorant. Unlike lots of other natural deodorants that I've tried, I only need to apply this once a day. I recommended it to a friend who wanted to switch to natural for breastfeeding, and she loves it, too.

I've tried several smells, including this tea tree, they are ok but lavender works best for me. Penny lane deodorant is the only natural deodorant I find works. It's crumbly but does the job, I spray my under arms with witch hazel then spray the deodorant with witch hazel and it will go on evenly n smooth.

I have used many different natural deo over the years and decided to try this one out when it was on sale. I like the smell, the fact that it's natural and the price (for the quantity). But I dislike the crumbly white powder it makes unless I water it down so much I feel like I am not applying anything. No other natural deo I wear has ever required water to be applied! I will not buy again.

I originally thought this was a great deodorant. It smells great and I've used the Rose kind of this brand and LOVE IT. But, I soon found out, that when I really start to sweat, it has a gross b.o fishy smell with my body chemistry. I know it's the tee tree. It DOES NOT mix well with my body.
I've switched back to the Rose and it's perfect. The Rose is super feminine and light and there is no smell!

I've tried both the lavender and lemon & tea tree deodorants. I've found both to be effective with light scents. I really appreciate the simple list of ingredients, although I do agree that it can be a little messy to use (have to wet the stick first, and sometimes it might still be a little crumbly). I will definitely keep using though as it lasts throughout the day and does not irritate my skin at all!

I was trying to find something that was natural, but was so scared that I would smell. I decided to give this one a go. It is the best deodorant I have ever used. I don't smell one bit. In fact, I smell better. I even went to the beach and smelt so fresh. It is a tad messy, but who cares. Just wet it before using as per instructions. Just a note, I even sweat less with it than my previous store brand. Will keep using forever.
