Reactine Extra Strength Antihistamine Tablets

Reactine Extra Strength Allergy Relief Tablets relieves indoor and outdoor allergy symptoms. Indoor allergens, including mold, dust, and pet dander can cause allergy symptoms at home and at work. Since indoor allergies can be triggered any time of year, it can often be easily confused with a cold. Understanding and recognizing the symptoms is half the battle. Allergy symptoms kick in when your immune system overreacts to substances called allergens. Your body releases many chemicals, one of which is called histamine. Histamine is the most abundantly released chemical and is responsible for causing most of your symptoms. Antihistamines are your first line of defense for allergy symptom relief. Antihistamines work by blocking the sites where histamine binds, so they help reduce and relive symptoms like itchy and watery eyes, runny nose and sneezing, itchy nose and throat, and allergic skin itch (like hives) caused by seasonal and perennial allergies.

Reactine contains 10-milligrams of Antihistamine Cetirizine Hydrochloride which provides fast, 24-hour symptom relief. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist. To be sure this product is right for you, always read and follow the label.    

Adults (under 65 years) and Children 12 years of age and over: take 1 tablet once daily, anytime of day. Adults 65 years of age and over: Use Reactine regular strength 5 mg tablets or consult a doctor. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Prolonged use only as directed by a doctor.

Ask a doctor before use if you:
• have liver or kidney disease
• are pregnant or breastfeeding.

When using this product:
• drowsiness may occur
• do not drive or operate machinery
• avoid alcoholic drinks or any sedating substances
• headache, sleepiness and dry mouth may occur

Stop use and ask a doctor if
• an allergic reaction occurs
• symptoms persist, worsen or new symptoms occur.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or get medical help right away. Read package insert before use. Do not use if carton is open missing or or if band around cap is broken. Store at 15 to 30°C.
