(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I do not like the handle of the Schick Hydro Silk razor . It feels very awkward in the hand, like you have to hold it a certain way. It seems restrictive. I want to be able to control the razor the way I'd like to. The head also seemed weird to me, but it did give a smooth shave.

I tried to use it after that but found it only left me with razor burn. It might be ok for legs but it was difficult to use on curvier areas.

It had a neat moisturizing band that helped the razor glide over my skin and get a super close shave. Usually I end up with at least one cut when I use a disposable razor but I didn't experience any with this new Schick Hydro Silk.

I had to remove the winter fur this morning from my legs as the weather is going to be hot, so time for shorts and Capris! My legs feel great!

Despite the 5-blades, some spots had to be shaved twice but the skin is really smooth. Not sure if it really hydrates, my skin is still sensitive more than 2 hours after shaving.

I was pleasantly surprised that my legs did NOT get hacked up. I found that the hydra boost serum is more of a gimmick and didn't work.

Received this product to try on behalf of Beyond Blush and Schick Hydro Silk Trim Style to try and was totally please with the results. The razor is easy to grip and maneuver, and leaves such a great smoothness! Love that the trimmer is good for anywhere, so makes it great for travelling. Thank you for the opportunity to try!

Great for summer shaving!
I got this product to try from Lipstick Powder and Paint and I was interested to see if I would like it. I have to say that I actually LOVE the Schick Hydro Silk Razor. It gave me a close shave that was also smooth (important when working in the bikini line area!). Great for using when I know I will be wearing shorts! Thanks!

I really enjoyed using this razor, the head moved freely and was about to float across my skin, I also feel the hydro boost serum helped prevent razor burn compared to other razors available at stores. The only think I would change would be to put a larger hydro boost strip.

Best part, it can all be done in the shower and that means no mess! I thought it left my skin hydrated and smooth and the trimmer was easy to clean! Great product for sure!

My only dislike was the head is really big,though much smaller than competitors, the moisture bar is nice but I really don't need to much plastic around the blades! The handle fits really well in my hand in various positions which is nice.

I wish the razors were a bit more prominent as I found I had to press a bit harder on my skin to shave some of the smaller hairs. Overall very good product!

However, it's just a razor, and I'm not particularly fussy as to which one I use, as long as it shaves smoothly and doesn't cut , scratch or irritate.

It was perfect, very close shave, legs felt smooth for around a day or so longer than they usually do. good product, not sure how it works with different shaving gel though.

We subscribe to a monthly razor blade club that I find to be just as good if not better than any lady razor on the market at a fraction of the cost. The one advantage this razor had was the moisturizing strip allowed me to skip the shaving cream. But the price...yikes!

The cartridge is just the right size for accessing hard-to-reach areas and left no irritation. There is a rubber handle which is comfortable in your hand. It leaves smooth moisturized skin.

However, the shave is t very close and I have to shave every day. The other razors I used I could get 2-3 days between shaves

No need to moisturize when finished shaving legs. It gave a closes shave the first time, did not have to go over and over areas. Love this product

So versatile!
I received the Trimstyle version of this razor from Spiced Beauty to try out. The main razor does an amazing job of giving me a close shave with no irritation or cuts. The trimmer is an awesome feature that allows you to trim hair and select the length you prefer. it's great to have both razor features in one product!

Trimmed and Styled for Summer'15
So happy I won The Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle from the Spiced Beauty Blog Contest! The 5 blades gave me the closest shave I have ever had from a women's razor. I only had to do each area once without having to go back over areas which eliminated any irritation I normally get. I have sever eczema on one ankle which is often made worse after shaving, but this razor coast your leg in a gel that not only moisturizes but nourishes the skin at the same time eliminating the aftershave dryness that cause an eczema flare up for me and is great in this summer heat.
I was super nervous to use the trimming side as I normally leave that to the professionals but it was so easy. I had great control with the easy grip handle and was able to pick a length that worked for me. I can happily say that I'll be saving money this summer now that I can take care of this myself! Maybe I'll splurge on a new pair of shorts to show off my new silky smooth legs. A high five on this one Schick!!

I found that I didn't get a close shave and that shaving with it lead to ingrown hairs.

I have swollen legs and as a result my skin is very sensitive, which in the past has made shaving rather unpleasant (though I wouldn't consider NOT shaving them). What I liked best was one stroke removed the hair, I didn't have to waste time going back over areas, sometimes when you need to shave there isn't always time to go back to get those missed strays.
