My parents relied on this product many years ago, and I still find it is the best dandruff shampoo available. Use as directed.

I've used this product to treat my tinea versicolor and it works. Using it for about two weeks daily and the results are definitely positive. Simply apply over affected area, leave on for about ten minutes and wash off. FYI if you have sensitive skin it could cause redness, tenderness or peeling of skin. Affordable OTC treatment.

So far, this shampoo has worked reasonably well to treat my dandruff; the best I have used.

I use this product to treat my tinea versicolor as well and it works if you use it daily for about a week...and then it comes back every summer. But at least it is less harsh than other medications.

I bought this thinking it would help with my tinea versicolour, after using it for two weeks I saw no improvement. Deciding to research this product after the fact I found out the active ingredient selenium sulfide is really toxic. They have banned this ingredient in Europe and Japan. I will be looking for more natural ways to deal with this skin condition.

Impressed by the excellent quality not only for antidandruff, but also some other types of scalp problems: itchyness and redness; and it make my hair shiny and darker. The shipping was very quick. It came three days after the purchase.

workes great.

Selsun shampoo has solved my dandruff and itching problem. After some experimenting I have found it best to first shampoo with a regular shampoo to wash away the oil and hair gel; then suds up with the Selsun and leave it on my hair while I shower the rest of my body and lastly rinse my hair. It's nice to be able to wear dark coloured tops without having embarrassing white flakes on the shoulders.

Great product for tinea versicolor. A little goes a long way, use as directed for great results. My hubby also has great results when using it for seborrhia dermatitis. It doesn't completely rid you of either disease, but willl keep it away for a long peroid of time. When it trys to return, just repeat the treatment. It's good to not overuse the treatment just to keep the disease wondering. Diseases are smart and want to survive as well.

I use this as an alternative to Versel to treat a skin disease, as Selsun has the same ingredient, but the smell of Selenium Sulphide is less pungent. Good results!
