Australian River Mint (Mentha Australis) is native to the wild, pristine rain forests and waterways of eastern Australia. It is known for it's fresh aromatic flavor and is used by indigenous Australians for medicinal purposes.
A hallmark of sensitive teeth and gums is pain or discomfort particularly with hot or cold foods. These sensations are due to sensitive nerves in the teeth or gums. It has a fresh mint taste too!
Potassium Nitrate works slowly (usually over 1-2 months) to reduce the sensitivity and therefore the unpleasant pain experienced with sensitive teeth. It has the same active ingredient as a regular sensitive toothpaste, but doesn't contain all the other chemicals.
