A pure soap product containing borax – keeps clothes softer
and colours last longer
Totally organic, biodegradable and non-polluting
– contains NO detergents
Does not require the use of anti-static or fabric softeners
Privately run retirement homes have found that this product has many benefits over commercial detergents. Washing bed linens in pure soap powder instead of commercial detergents resulted in fewer bed sores and irritated skin for their residents. Since many of the residents are bed-ridden, washing bed clothes with soap instead of detergent meant a world of comfort and improved well being for the residents. Soap Works laundry soap may cost a little more per load compared to detergents. But soap does not need fabric softener or anti-static treatments so you save the cost of these additives. Your clothes will feel softer and your colours will last longer when you wash your clothes with soap.
Ingredients:Sodium tallowate, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Borate
Gets everything clean as regular detergent!Kids aren't so sensitive to it as even the most mildest formula detergents out there. I only find that dissolving it in hot water takes some time especially when you have lots of laundry to do. But nevertheless it's a great product for the price.
Love this soap. I have very sensitive eczema-prone skin and this soap has not caused any break outs at all! It gets everything nice and clean without leaving any residue behind. :)
Was surprised at how well this works. I shouldn't be its a great company. Takes the mechanic grease out of the clothes. great job!
Nice and simple. No real fragrance and clothes clean just as well as other natural/eco-friendly products I've tried. I like that this comes in a paper bag which can be more easily recycled as opposed to the big plastic jugs I was previously using. 4/5 stars.
I actually mixed this with the washing soda. I find it works better than regular detergent. For tough stains I use a plain laundry soap (sold elsewhere on this site) and scrub (+ leave) it in the fabric pre-wash. Better than any stain removers which I found don't really work.
We have a water softener and this soap works wonders in our HE machine. Our laundry comes out CLEAN an it does not stink with perfumes. Towels are super soft!!! My wife and boys have sensitive skin, and this definitely stops the itch!
I would recommend this product to skin sensitive buyers, it suits me very well and doesn't have the harsh chemicals that irritate the skin. If any of my clothing gets a stain i simply use a stain removal product first, let the item set for a few minutes and brush it out. A person shouldn't expect any detergent to do cleaning and all stains from one product, it would be too good to be true, especially when we're trying to remove irritant chemicals in laundry or softeners used, ask any dermotologist. It makes me wonder when companies have to keep advertising "new and improved" all the time. Take some time to read adult and infant laundry detergent, both have the similar ingredients, its all in the marketing!
This soap works very well! It seems very gentle, and cleans very well. We have a new favorite!
I was very excited to use this product but was very disappointed. Although it leaves my clothes soft and fragrant free it did not remove simple stains that always come out with store bought detergents. Not sure if I will purchase this product again.
I love this soap! Feels great, smells great and not too offensive or strong....great for our sensitive skin. Have had no problems yet.....
I just want to note that this is not a vegetarian/vegan product because of the sodium tallowate. If that bothers you, please take note.
We are expecting our first baby this July and I have been using this laundry soap to wash all of the baby's clothes, blankets etc. Haven't used it on any heavily soiled items yet, but 1 - 2 tbsp seems to do the trick in our high efficiency front loading washer. I do find that the soap dissolves better if I mix it with some boiled water first.
love this product..cleans very well and great to people with skin allergies or sensitive skin
I wasn't sure laundry soap without any of the common additives would work as well as the typical major brands. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it not only works, but we use MUCH less than those brands recommend to get a load of laundry clean. For us, about two tablespoons will get the average load clean, and we're not afraid to hang our whites on the line to dry. For some stains, a chlorine-free bleach is needed, but that is also often the case with the major brands. Do yourself a favour and try this soap; your skin, the environment and your wallet will thank you. I plan to keep using this as my only laundry soap as long as I have a way to buy it.
I love this soap! I never use fabric softener, and our clothes and the diapers have never been this soft!
Best laundry soap EVER. Even in a top load machine, I use one quarter cup for really dirty stuff such as diapers, and less for not so dirty stuff. Also, since it is soap, and not detergent, it will help wash fire retardant chemicals out of your children's clothes. Bonus!
Love simple laundry soap; it really cleans and is safe for our health. Enjoyed using this one until chemical sensitivities increased, then the soapy smell, (which most people wouldn't notice) even with much rinsing, was too much for me. Now I use Soap Works liquid laundry soap. It is not as good with grease removal as this one, but it has zero smell, which is heaven for people with multiple chemical sensitivities. Why does pure soap bother someone with chemical sensitivities? Because you can become sensitive to just about anything, once you are MCS.
Clothes come out so soft and clean. Used with the companion 'safe bleach', it is even good for soiled white loads.
This is an awesome product. Doesn't pollute the water, is biodegradable, and it works! It also will last a long time, and you will no longer require fabric softener. So it's way better for the environment AND it's cost-effective. No good reason not to use this!
