Floral and Fun
I'm pretty sure I remember having this as a kid in the 80s. There was a similar product, Sen Sen, that tasted like this, if I remember right. Well, I can't find Sen Sen's, but I did find this. Yes, I can see how people feel it tastes soapy. I suppose it does. But it is supposed to taste floral, like rose. I think that people are not used to expecting the taste/experiencing the taste of rose, so their mind goes to soap.
If you think about how you imagine a floral rose would taste when you chew this, it helps it to taste more like that, I think.
It's a fun treat, and a fun piece of nostalgia. Also makes a great little gift to include in a birthday present, stocking, etc., cause nostalgia is fun.

Soapy gum! What a great trip down memory lane
Gum with real sugar doesn't last long obviously, but nothing compares to that weird but awesome soapy taste. It's so funny yet addictive. Will get more for sure!

Get toxic BHA out of this
Tastes just like cancer. The ingredient BHA is alarming as it's a known carcinogen that may cause malignant tumors in the human body. Surprisingly though I did like the flavor of this soap gum probably because of the amount of sugar it's doused with.

Great for washing out your kids mouths when they use profanity! Horrid taste like chewing on a bar of soap at the Howard Johnson's rest stop!

Childhood memories
This gum is like a trip down Memory Lane. Full off soapy goodness, and the flavour still only lasts about 10 seconds. YUM!!!
