I have been drinking Licorice Tea for years and this is the best one on the market. It tastes slightly sweet because licorice root is 50x sweeter than sugar cane. There are no sweeteners in this product, just 100% licorice root, all natural. I am a ovarian cancer survivor and when I decided to add green tea to my recovery plan, I hated the taste of green tea. But adding licorice root tea to green tea made the taste amazing. Six years later I have green tea and licorice tea 3x a day. Yum, yum. The taste is not weird (read that above) it is a delicate sweet after taste. I highly recommend this product.
