Organic Licorice Root is an herbal tea that is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an expectorant to help relieve chest complaints, such as catarrh's, coughs and bronchitis.

Recommended dose: Adults: Drink 1 cup (1 tea bag) 2 to 4
times daily. Adolescents 14 years and older: Drink 1 cup (1 tea bag) 2
to 4 times daily. Adolescents 10 to 14 years: Drink 1 cup (1 tea bag) 1
to 3 times daily. Children 5 to 9 years: Drink 1 cup (1 tea bag) 1 to 2
times daily. Children 4 to 5 years: Drink 1 cup (1 tea bag) ½ to 1 times
daily.
Directions for Use: Pour 240 mL freshly boiled water
over 1 tea bag and steep, covered, for 10-15 minutes. Gently squeeze the
tea bag to release the remaining extractive.
Duration of use: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4-6 weeks.
Medicinal ingredients: Each tea bag (1.5g) contains: Organic licorice root* (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 1,500 mg.
Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner if
symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to
use if you have a liver disorder, or are pregnant.
Contraindications: Do not use if you have hypokalemia,
high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder. Do not use
if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides,
corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may
aggravate electrolyte imbalance.
