I have used this pore-tightening lotion several times before receiving my free trial and have never been disappointed by this product. As I have combination/oily skin with large pores, this product was right up my alley. I noticed a difference in my skin's oil production as well as with the look of my pores after a few uses. The lotion never dried out my skin and is perfect for sensitive skin. Vichy has always been a name/brand I have trusted and will continue to use their products, including this one, as they are affordable products that actually produce results.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Vichy Normaderm Purifying Pore-Tightening Lotion! This is my favourite oil and acne fighting toner/astringent so far, and I’ve tried many. It leaves my face feeling clean, fresh, and matte without any dryness or flakiness after. My pores are visibly reduced! I use it every morning after washing my face. A tip, dab some extra on your breakouts with a Q-Tip to disinfect and dry them quicker. The nice scent is light and not overpowering. Works best when used with the other Normaderm products. One downside is that the shape of the bottle makes it a bit difficult to dispense and I end up spilling it some and therefore wasting it. But I RECOMMEND it!

I have never been w fan of toner as it always has s strong alcohol scent and burns my face incredibly which in turns makes my face look really blotchy. But I must say I was very impressed with the Vichy normaderm purifying pore-tightening lotion! The smell isn't over powering (and it's nice!) and doesn't sting when applying. It's nice seeing it actually works when you see some dirt on the cotton pad, even after washing your face with the Vichy normaderm cleansing gel. My face is definitely smoother and a lot softer after using this. I am very impressed and will keep using it! Thanks so much chick advisor for this free product in return for an honest review!

I forgot how much I missed the clean feeling of that circular cotton pad on my skin and the refreshing coolness. This product makes me think of cucumbers, calming and cool. Here's my newest favourite use: after using the cotton pad on face, swipe it on your decolletage. Not only does it feel great, but I sometimes get blemishes there from being hot and sweaty throughout the day. It works! Great product for a great price! Only wish it came in 'airport security' friendly sizes.

I'm always looking for new things to try. I've been using this product now for 3 weeks and I have to say, it's the best product I've tried! My face looks way better, it really really helped! I'm so happy. The only downside was that it really dried my face out after about a week so I had to start using extra moisturizer. I will definitely be buying this 3 step system when I'm finished

I'm usually lazy when it comes to using toner, but this one works so well that it makes me want to use it more! It definitely sweeps away all the dirt and grime that just washing your face alone isn't able to do. It's strangely satisfying to see all the gunk removed from your face! This toner left my skin feeling clean and soft, and has a very mild scent, which I appreciate! This is definitely one of the better toners I have tried, and I definitely recommend it!

This bottle will last you a while! I've used this everyday for a month and I'm not even a quarter through the bottle! You really get your money's worth! The smell is okay. Not the biggest fan of the packaging but it's not the worst! All in all, I would highly recommend this product! This is the product responsible for making my skin look more even in the mornings. I don't notice the imperfections (bumpiness) as much anymore. And it definitely helped in healing breakouts a lot sooner and faster. I would try and double dab more on existing zits/breakouts to get them to heal faster and that seemed to work. Overall, I'm pleased with this product and would use again.

Even though this lotion did feel a bit harsh at first and the smell is very álchohol-ish' I do feel like it does a very good job deeply cleansing the skin and getting rid of any last dirt that's left after cleaning your face. After I used this for 4 weeks along with the other two products I saw a considerable difference in my skin. I started out with pretty bad acne that came out of nowhere and now only have the occasional pimple. You also get a lot for your buck. The packaging is very pretty as well. The worst smell out of the three but definitely does the job. I will probably buy this again!

I read up on this toner before trying it out and I agree with others who have said this product is more to prevent acne rather than get rid of acne. I definitely feel its effectiveness in working as a toner, but I wish it did more about my problem skin. I do feel my pores getting tighter and it works well with my oily skin. I'll definitely keep trying it out, especially so on days when my acne isn't as bad, so that I can prevent it from getting worse. Looking forward to seeing more results from the toner!

As part of the Chick Advisor Review panel I was able to try Vichy's purifying pore tightening lotion for a month. I love the clean feeling that the lotion guves you. It makes my skin feel so light and fresh. The smell is also fresh and I felt good about using this as part of my routine. <br />

I did notice a change in my pores. I think they will always be bigger than most but at least for now they are a little smaller.

I've been using this, along with 2 other Vichy products in conjunction for the last month or so and I've been impressed. I previously didn't use a toner as part of my normal skincare routine but I see the benefit of doing so now. I use this after I wash my face and I like how refreshed my skin feels after applying it. I feel like it slightly tightens and reduces the look of my pores but I'm not sure its enough to see any noticeable difference. I feel like I've seen more results with the facial wash and moisturizing lotion that I received but I think I will probably repurchase this because all 3 work so well together.

The blackheads seem to come back after each cleaning because my pores are so big. After trying this out for two weeks, The blackheads seems to almost disappear. My pores are smaller for sure. The best part is, it doesn't dry out my skin. I do feel a tightening sensation however it doesn't feel dry to the point that it itches and cause skin irritation.

It has a nice gentle and clean scent. At first it stung my skin, but after a few uses it stopped. I can visibly see that my pores are smaller and my black heads have all but disappeared. This lotion gets any trace amounts that may be left on your face after cleansing. I will definitely be buying this and continuing to use after my bottle runs out.

I was a little confused on the directions/use of the product as it is described to be used as a toner but on the bottle mentions it's a cleanser. I would consider using it instead of washing my face after the gym or going out. I used it as a toner after cleansing my skin. I really liked the product as it did not dry out my skin even though it contains salacyic acid. It left me feeling matte and clean after use.

The best thing about this is it doesn't irritate my face which is the added bonus. <br />

I had high hopes for this product, although unfortunately it was a let down. The scent was really nice and light, although the product itself didn't do much for my skin. I didn't find my pores to be any more tightened or less noticeable than before. I used this product for a few weeks to give it a fair chance, although I found my skin had more acne than before and the acne lasted longer than usual. My other acne care system definitely works much better. I will keep using this product for a couple more weeks, although if I do not see a difference in my skin I will be switching back to my original acne care system.

This product is so good at cleaning all the gunk off your face whether it's a hot summer day or you just did a killer workout. I've noticed a dramatic difference in my skin since using this. Besides the obvious of this working wonders for my skin, I love the fact that it never makes my skin feel right after using so it's definitely safe for people with sensitive skin like myself. The other thing I love about this even if you just use this as a toner for those lazy days where you don't feel like washing or exfoliating your face first, it still works so good. I will definitely be buying more of this magic, I can't say enough good things about it!

This product claims that it will reduce your pore size and create a matte effect on your skin. Although the product does dry with a matte finish, I used this product for several weeks and my pore size did not reduce one bit. Not only did my pore size not reduce, I feel as if I have more acne/pimples now than I did before. I was really hopeful for this product, but I was quite disappointed.

I got this as part of the sensitive skin package. My skin is fairly sensitive, and thought this could be a good product to try and deal with some of my blemishes.<br />
Like the cleansing gel, the first thing I noticed was the intense perfume smell. Almost all other items I have ever used for sensitive skin either have little to no smell or a very organic/natural smell. For someone who is sensitive to perfumes this already put me off, but I still tried it. I actually tried the whole package for two weeks and my skin reacted - I broke out terribly. I had to stop using all the products.

To be completely honest, I couldn't tell you if this lotion is actually doing an effective job of tightening my pores - they don't look noticeably different but that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't doing anything. I can tell you, however, that this stuff feels absolutely amazing when I put it on. It smells so good and after I've applied it, my skins feels so refreshed, like I just had a facial. This is easily my favourite of the two Vichy products I tried. #gotitfree

I struggle finding a toner that does a good job of deep cleaning my acne prone skin while sensitive enough to not cause redness, drying out and irritation. This product fits the bill and works amazing. I've been using it in combination with the gel cleanser and hydrating lotion and have noticed remarkable improvement in my skin's overall tone and reduced breakouts.

The product contains alcohol which makes me less likely to keep using as I worry about my skin drying out excessively. When you open the bottle it has a faint alcohol smell when you use it that fades. I didn't notice any pore tightening as the product claims or any reduction in pore size. Found it did a decent job of pulling out any left over make up/oil out of my skin.

For claiming to be an acne reducing product I wouldn't say it is worth the buy at the current price point. You can achieve the same results with cheaper products. I enjoyed using this product and did notice a difference in my skins appearance but I wouldn't repurchase with such a high price since it didn't help reduce my acne like I had hoped.

I washed as usual then placed Vichy Normaderm Purifying Pore-Tightening Lotion on a cotton pad and applied it to my face. when I looked at the cotton pad after application I was amazed at how much oil and dirt was on the pad. With continued use it has tightened my pores noticeably. The smell is quite pleasant. I will continue using this product until it is empty and then review again.

I still like it overall but I don't see a much difference to other toners. The product works well when using with the other 2, but by itself I believe there might be other products out there that can do a better job. Nevertheless, I like this product used simultaneously with the others. It leaves your face soft and smooth and smelling nice.

After using it for 4 weeks there is still a ton of product left. I loved the instant mattifying texture it gave to my skin. I did have to cut my application down to once a day though, because one of the 3 products was giving me a bit of a rash. It's not surprising though since my skin is so sensitive. Overall, I really liked this product and will get it again!
