7 days of peace of mind
Used this cooler on a camping trip and was amazed by it’s ability to retain cold items. I tested this cooler prior to leaving for my trip and with 2 large Yeti ice packs it was able to maintain a temperature bellow 4 degrees Celsius for 7 days. My advice if you want the best performance is to pre-cool your cooler with an additional set of sacrificial ice packs 24 hours before you pack it for your trip and store it in a cool place (basement) to get the inner temperature of the cooler already cool

Yeti ice is the way
Yeti ice totally lives up to the hipe I bought 2 of the big ones froze them I my freezer and put one on each end of my yeti tundra 35 and 20 beer and a bag of ice. The next day I had to chisel the ice to loosen it as it was frozen into a block of ice. Best investment I could have made to go with the cooler. Note I did follow all the pre chilling instructions.

YETI Ice for the win!
Did exactly what it said it would. Water was freezing to the YETI Ice for days. I got 8 days off ice before it started to melt, on day 10 there was still a good bit of ice.
We were in B.C. It was mid- high 30s all week long, cooler was outside most of the time.
I would definitely recommend this product, more pricy but worth the extra money in my opinion.

Leakproof
My biggest complaints with ice packs have always been that they are the wrong dimensions or that they leak. Thus far these ice packs have been the perfect size to fit the bottom of my Yeti coolers and have never leaked on me. I will be purchasing more to have backups ready for use.

Expensive but works amazing
We have been very surprised how well these work when pairing with normal ice. We have used it twice now and the ice retention when using this (and pre-cooling) has surprised us both times. These little packs are expensive but they do work marvels to help retain ice.

Energizer bunny of freezer packs
Stays cold for days! Forgot to empty my cooler after the first football sunday of the year and was surprised to find everything still cold when I opened it 2 days later. This is not a good cooler, soft one you get at winners that ice would melt same day ...

Made a home test and it passed
Made a test in my yeti cooler, had this one and a normal ice pack on the other side. 24h ice was melted on the normal side and I had a block of ice on the yeti side. Just ordered a second one

Science is amazing
The science is real. I never doubted it, but I did the test for fun anyway. The yeti ice sacrifices itself for actual ice. The ultimate gift (to an ice cube). Yeti ice is also a great gift.
