Keeps drinks hot, not spill resistant.
This mug would be amazing for a commuter, or use while camping/outdoors. It keeps beverages hot better than anything I’ve ever used in the past.
In terms of “spill resistance” it is quite poor. YETI does advertise that it is not spill proof, only spill resistant. So even in the cup holder on my stroller it tends to make quite a mess.
I also feel it is quite heavy - inconsequential to me but if you are hiking/travelling it would definitely add weight.

Can't go wrong with a Yeti
I love my Yeti mugs. They stand up to their claims, keeping hot drinks hot and cold beverages cold. We use them around the house and for travel - although if you are looking to put things in backpacks or unsteady spaces (floors of cars, strollers, backpacks), the magslider lid is splash resistant, not spill proof so you could see some spillage. Just got another larger size for big glasses of water and making giant cups of iced tea for the summer time. They are great for coffee, tea, iced tea, even beer. Love my Yetis.

Disappointed in performance
I ordered this cup to replace a cup that I bought at Starbucks 15 years ago,. The shape of this mug is not ideal and is awkward to hold in your hand, It is not advertised as leak proof but even if it gets tipped a bit in your hand it leaks. It keeps your beverage hot but not any more than the old one I still have and use.

Great Tumbler
I love love love the Tumbler. Just one thing. It doesn’t fit under my coffee machine so it’s just a little bit too tall. I was hoping to get the 14 oz but apparently it’s not carried anymore. But as a Tumbler, I love it. I love the color, I love the shape, I love the magnetic lid, which is easy to drink from. And I love the texture of it when I hold it.

Nice sturdy mug!
Nice mug, fits in the carholder and keeps coffee and tea super hot! The one star loss is the small leakage out if the clip when sloshed around. This may be a lemon , because I have two lowball yeti containers that are perfect fit don’t fit the car holder.

Thought Yeti was gimmicky, WRONG
Love it, keeps drinks cold for a ridiculous amount of time. Hot drinks stay hot long enough, for me, to finish while still hot.
