Growing up on the Mediterranean coast, Fouad played in a backyard full of olive trees. He remembers visiting the olive press with his father and uncle, and always putting aside the last few batches for soap.
As a young girl in Surrey, Sonia would hand-roll cotton wicks with her mother, who had learned the practice from Sonia's grandmother back home in India. The cotton wicks were used to create tea-lights, intended to burn all day.
