Adeeva Thyro-Support Formula contains four essential nutrients that work synergistically to support thyroid function:
- Coleus Forskolin – an herb shown to increase the release of thyroid hormone from the thyroid gland in experimental studies
- Iodine – the essential mineral that is a critical component of thyroid hormone synthesis
- Tyrosine – the amino acid that is the essential building block from which thyroid hormone is made in the thyroid gland.
- Gum Guggul – an herb shown to increase conversion of T4 to T3, the most active form of thyroid hormone, under expermimental condtions.
Clinical Applications:
- To support thyroid function in cases where symptoms of under-active thyroid are present in the absence of abnormal thyroid blood tests (fatigue, skin and hair changes, slow metabolism, easy weight gain etc.)
- Adjunctive nutritional management given concurrently with thyroid medication in cases of established hypothyroidism. Note that Thyro-Support Formula is not to be used in place of thyroid hormone replacment therapy (i.e. Synthroid), but can be used concurrently with thyroid replacement therapy to help enhance the efficacy of the drug.
Dosage: Take 1 capsule, twice daily with meals, or as directed by a health care professional

- Gum Guggul (Std to 2.5% Guggulsterone) 300 mg
