works but unintended side effects
This completely took the itch away, which was amazing and allowed me to sleep after getting eaten alive by mosquitos. I tend to react baddly to bug bites and the usuall ammonia based anti-itch things don't work for me. The liquid came out after a couple of dabs so I didn't have a problem like some others with application. Unfortunately I had an unexpected reaction to the stick where the area dabbed developed blisters and swelling. I couldn't see this listed under cautions so perhaps it's a very rare reaction? I had to stop using it after that.

Try something else
Bought a couple of these sticks to try instead of After-Bite (our regular standby). Huge mistake! One of the sticks is impossible to get anything out of and the other one sort of comes out but not enough to make a difference.
We regularly use Benadryl caplets which work great so i really hoped this would be a viable addition to our bug bite arsenal but sadly i was wrong. Someone needs to redesign the applicator. ..the product inside may be great but if you cant get it out of the tube then what good is it???
Back to the drawing board!

Helps relieve itch when you can get the product out
Like many others, the “dabber” does not work well. I felt like I was pounding it against my leg because even if I got the product “pouring” our another way, by the time I got it against the bite on my leg it had dried up again, just a few seconds later. I might take a needle to the dabber so I can actually get some relief. I can’t take actual Benadryl during the day and I’m allergic to mosquito bites, which I got this morning before work. I knew I should have just bought the cream instead of the stick. But I wanted to avoid my pants sticking to my leg. That would have been better than no relief. I hurt and itch and this was almost a waste of money. I felt a small amount of relief from the small amount of product that got on the bite.

The best Bug Bite itch relief of all!!
Thank you for the perfect itch relief. It works fast, good and it's the only one that does not sting. It's the best one for children because it does not sting, thus my kids will let me put it on them.

Good product; poor design
Product works well, once you can get it out of the 'bottle'. The dabber doesn't do it's job well enough when pushed against skin and no product comes out. I have to use my nail to make the liquid flow out and then dab it on the bites. Product is great once on the skin, but getting it there is problematic. I wouldn't buy it again.

Great product, but poor applicator!
I got bit by a fire ant and needed itch relief. I had used After Bite in the past and didn't have much left in my bottle. Because someone recommended the Benadryl stick to me, I purchased it instead. Unfortunately, the product applicator was poorly designed. In order to get the Benadryl product out, I needed to tap hard onto the affected area numerous times, which di nothing but spread the poisoned itchy area to an even larger area of my hand and aggravated it even more. I tried poking holes in the applicator tip too, but that only helped a small bit. Gave up and went back to the store and bought more After Bite.

It didn't work at all, not on myself nor on someone that was with me!
I bought this product to use when we were at the lake, for bug bites. It was forboth myself and my 10 year old granddaughter.
Afterwards we settled into our campsite we sat down to have our supper. We were attacked by mosquitoes. I was able to open it, and use the applicator, but it didn't relieve any itchiness or raised reddened area where the mosquitos had bitten.
I tried the next day, again, when we needed it, but nothing! It didn't work at all! It wasted our money, time and worse, we were far away from any services, and couldn't treat the bug bites.

Don't waste your money on this.
relieves itching for 30 mins and then i have to re-apply.
however, you have to shake and dab the itch stick multiple times to get it to work and even then it is just a small amount.
i thought it would be a roll on stick but its a dabber. I would buy a cream or gel instead of this product.
