Bio‑Oil is a specialist skincare oil that helps improve the appearance
of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. It is also effective for

The Bio‑Oil formulation is a combination of plant extracts and vitamins suspended in an oil base. I had to admit I was skeptic. I bought this product because I had burned the top of my hand on the inside of the oven, and I have a scar and some stretch marks in other areas.
To my surprise when I opened up the info booklet it mentioned for use on the face for dry skin as well (something I've spent lots of $ on). I used just a little on my face and felt the difference immediately!
I noticed a difference in how my skin feels for the areas I applied it to. I've only used this for a couple of days so I don't have more results to report. I'll wait a bit and post a followup.

Initially, I was very skeptical about using this product. I had a baby about 8 months ago, and was unable to get rid of the few deep stretch marks that I still had. I had tried numerous products, with no luck. When I read the reviews for this product, most people said that it was good for recent stretch marks but not for older ones. I have only been using this for about a week, but the marks are already very faded, in the short span of time that I've used this, this product has worked better for me than any other product that I have used. Amazing, definitely worth buying the bigger one.

I love this product! It took a few times to get used to application methods(Use just a few drops, massage it into skin well.), but once I did I have found my 53 year-old skin to be soft, supple, vibrant, and free of the occasional adult zits I used to get. Twice a day in Winter, once nightly in Summer. I've been using it for about 6 months and have had 3 different people, unrelated, in three different circumstances, comment how lovely my skin is. A new one for me! Thanks Bio-Oil producers, a beautiful product!

too much fragrance
Used for about a month and saw no improvements to my acne dark scars. Additionally the fake perfume smell is absolutely overwhelming. Putting something with that much fragrance on your skin is never a good idea.

Something's not right...
The scent, and formula seems to be different from what I fell in love with.
It doesn’t smell as good or keep my skin as soft. This was my go-to for years but this will be my last purchase.

Six months I ago, I accidentally knocked down a pot of boiling water in my kitchen and scalded my hand. Initially, I have heard that Bio-Oil is good for stretch marks and later learned that it also works on scars and wrinkles. Since the accident left a really large and unsightly scar on my right hand, I got myself a bottle.
I've been using it for three days now and it gives me hope that my scar will eventually fade. So far I haven't seen any changes but it does keep my hands soft and moist all day long. So it's really a great for dry skin.
Based on what I've read on other sites, you must discipline yourself and apply the oil twice a day for a min. of 3 months to see any result. I hope I can see mine really soon.

So I'm following up. I posted months back about my initial use of bio-oil. Since then, I've found that it works good to help heal fresh scrapes, scars, etc. I didn't notice a dramatic difference on my old scar or my old stretch marks. I had to stop using this on my dry skin on my face as well and the product made my dry skin too oily and caused breakouts and clogged pores. Overall I would say there is some benefit to this for moisturizing your skin, but don't over do it!
