Douglas Laboratories DGST Support Formula

The D.G.S.T Formula contains the base formula of Douglas Laboratories’ Ultra Specific Series that supports the maintenance of good health. High levels of catalytically active digestive enzymes are also included for the metabolism of nutrients in the body.

Bromelain and papain act as digestive enzymes and assist in the breakdown of large macromolecular protein complexes. This reduces the chance that these complexes will leave the stomach untouched or in large fractions retaining their recognizable antigenic form that could pass through gastric or intestinal lesions inducing an allergenic response. D.G.S.T. Formula also provides Lactobacillus acidophilus to help support gastrointestinal health.
