I ordered well.ca boxes for a coupe family members for Christmas and had a bottle of this in the mix. They had never tried ume vinegar before and loved it as much as I do. Highly recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by bon from TOO SALTY I love ume and to call it ume vinegar, I expected to be sour and with an obvious ume flavor. But this is soooo salty that you cannot taste much of anything else. I don't even know where I can use it now..it tastes like a salty brine with the slightly hint of ume. If I want more obvious ume notes on my dishes, then it will be way too salty...
