FINN CRISP produces two varieties baring the name Original: The one under review, called "Original Rye", has a round shape, is quite large and thick. The other version, simply called "Original", is rectangular in shape, is a bit smaller and very much thinner. The Original Rye is baked with rye flour, whereas the "Original" is baked with sourdough rye. They both look, feel and taste very different.
Personally I much prefer the thin crispbread for its shape and refined taste. Unfortunately Well.ca does not offer this variety at the time of writing. I find that strange since it has been around since 1952 and remains the most loved flavour by FINN CRISP consumers.
