A life of tea and ethics
As a Ph.D. Candidate, tea is necessary as books in my life - yes, I am the stereotype. This is to say that I adore tea - its history, quality, individuality. Moreover, I care about how that tea is produced - who gets to/has to grow and harvest it, how it is traded, and who is or is not paid for that land based labour. That is why I am grateful for Four O’Oclock tea. Not only does this company offer a beautiful array of earth-based flavors and aromas, but they are committed to ethical standards above all else. In the small lifetimes we are given, I am glad to be able to choose this tea company, and have four o’clock tea at all hours of the day (and night:)
