Imodium Complete Rapid Relief of Diarrhea

IMODIUM Advanced is the first and only anti-diarrheal solution with a unique, dual-action formula designed to effectively relieve diarrhea PLUS painful cramps, gas, and bloating. This product contains an additional ingredient, simethicone, which helps to relieve painful gas symptoms which often accompany diarrhea.

Usage: For fast and effective relief of diarrhea PLUS gas, cramps and bloating. Often relieves diarrhea in just one dose. (Clinical studies indicate that diarrheal control may be achieved after the initial dose in 50% of patients.)

Recommended Dosage: Adults and Children: 12 years and over: Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea. Take 2 caplets initially followed by 1 caplet after each loose bowel movement. Do not take more than 4 caplets in 24 hours. Take only on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal) with a full (250 mL) glass of water.

Caution: Dosage warning Taking more than directed can cause serious heart problems or death. Do not use if you have bloody or black stool, fever, constipation, abdominal pain, swollen abdomen, ulcer, bacterial infection in your bowel, a rash or allergic reaction to loperamide hydrochloride or any other ingredient in this product, difficulty swallowing, in children under 12 years of age, except if directed by a doctor.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver disease, meningitis, mucus in the stool, history of abnormal heart rhythm, take any prescription drug including antibiotics, are pregnant or breastfeeding.

When using this product; tiredness, dizziness, or drowsiness may occur, do not drive or operate machinery.

Stop use and ask a doctor if diarrhea gets worse or lasts longer than 2 days, unusual symptoms appear or, symptoms reoccur, you get abdominal pain, swelling or bulging. These may be signs of a serious condition.
