Langnese Forest Honey
375 mL
This exquisite forest honey has a tangy, aromatic and full-bodied taste. It is the strong character of this sumptuous natural product with its dark colour and viscosity that makes honey collected in the forest so popular. Honeydew is exuded by juice-sucking insects. The drops of honeydew, which contain organic acids and enzymes, are then collected by bees on pine trees and leaf trees and enriched a second time through their own enzymes. This is what makes forest honey so precious.

Keep away from light and store at room temperature.

I usually hate honey because it is too sweet and irritates my throat but this one is very different. It is less sweet, thick but liquid which makes it easily spreadable, very fragrant and absolutely delicious. If Well.ca carried other honey varieties by Langnese I would try them all.

Thi s is the second time I've reviewed this product simply because I want to emphasize how ldelicious it is. You don't have to slather it on your toast or pancakes to get a real burst of flavor. Bless the bees and the Hawkins company!

I've tried all 3 varieties of Langnese honey! They are all so delicious that you won't regret paying the higher price. I have to admit that I'm drawn slightly more to the deep colored Wild Forest variety, but I think it's mainly BECAUSE of the color! Surely this is what liquid Amber would taste like! The trio of flavors would make a perfext gift pack.
