Wrong Color then what was in box
Bought the Feria M26 "Violet Eclipse" yesterday and dyed my hair... I had previously used the same brand and similar color "Midnight violet" V28 back on November 22, 2023. There were no products in my hair before I dyed it the M26 last night. I processed it as directions said. When I washed it out per directions and towel dried it, my hair came out and orange color on my roots as if it had been bleached. There is no violet/purple color in my hair at all. I don't know what to do. It is as if the color pigment was never put in the shimmering conditioning colour gel. I followed all steps on box that was sealed from the store. How do I correct this and make Loreal make it right?

Misleading...
I previously bleached toned my dark hair very light and fairly ashy. I decided to try this dye out hoping for a cool pastel pink as advertised on the box. I finished applying the product and i noticed it was looking very dark. I rinsed it out and I am disappointed to say the least. My hair is an unpleasant orangey-pink, nothing like the box. Even my roots, which were probably lighter than the examples on the box, are not even close to the colour on the box. This product is misleading and I am disappointed with the results. Ruining my bleached hair with a colour that I didn’t want. I do not recommend this product at all.

Works Exactly How It Should
My hair is naturally dark chocolate brown with silky, loose ringlet curls. On virgin hair my color was lifted between 2-3 levels. As you can clearly see, I have natural highlights that occurred, so my color is indeed multifaceted. I’m always suspicious of negative reviews with NO PICTURES to prove their bad review. My positive review should give you all better clarity. Remember, all results will vary because we don’t all have the same hair types or processes done to our hair. As you continue using the hi lift brown, your results will be lighter than the first time. I find this look to be on-trend at the moment, my color stands at a warm, peanut butter cup/caramel color for this Fall 2021.

Must be blonde before using!
Firstly, like the product directions and many reviews say, this is meant for blonde hair. There is no way you can lighten darker hair just by using this hair colour alone. With that in mind, I would only recommend this to naturally blonde or experienced hair bleachers. Otherwise, the final product might turn out patchy or not silver enough (depending on the level of blonde you have). I used this with a friend who already has bleached hair and it turned out great. It's not as silver as the box, but it muted her brassy blonde down to a grey colour. It's actually pretty nice, but if you want to replicate the box, I would recommend going to a salon.

Looked good till the first wash 3 days after dying
I bought 2 boxes of this product and went home and dyed my hair, I have naturally light blonde hair that’s thick and long why I bought 2 boxes. This dye did not take to any of my roots, random chunks did not take. I have not had this issue with any other box dye I have used and I have using boxed dyes for over 12 years. Washed my hair after 3 days of dying, my ends faded instantly into a grey blonde mess. Went swimming with my son a week after dying. 80% of the colour is gone and am left with a grey blonde mess with some hints of blue about 2inches from my roots. For a dye that is suppose to be permanent, I am not happy what so ever.

Amazing colour!!!
The color is perfect! I am in love with myself. Exactly what I was looking for and is easy to apply. PS: I bleached my hair before to achieve this result.

Healthy hair, double check your colour!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love how soft my hair feels, even a couple days after dying it! It still feels and looks super healthy. The one problem I have against this (and it may even be the specific colour I tried) was that my hair turned out MUCH DARKER than I could have imagined! I chose a vibrant red and now my hair is almost black with undertones of purple. Not going to lie, I was pretty disappointed when I saw the results. I don't think it is any more "shiny/shimmery" than when using other box dyes. A few days later I am happy with overall health but colour is definitely getting changed real soon.
