Shepherd’s purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris) is a herbal tincture that has been traditionally used to relieve menorrhagia (heavy clotting), heavy periods and excess menstrual flow. Other uses of shepherd’s purse are the treatment of varicose veins, hemorrhoids, bloating, gas, constipation and diarrhea. The liquid tincture format provides for rapid absorption of highly bioavailable ingredients. Using shepherd’s purse with IRONsmart non-constipating iron to help treat menorrhagia and prevent against iron deficiency.
