Ingredients: Organic California Brown Jasmine Rice.
1 cup Lundberg Brown Jasmine rice
1½ cups water or broth
1 tbsp. butter (optional)
salt to taste
Combine rice, water, and butter (optional) in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low-simmer, and cook for 40 minutes. Remove from heat (with lid on!) and steam for 15 minutes. Fluff with fork.
If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer.

I skimped on the quality of my rice last time I purchased and learned a hard and yucky lesson. It's worth buying high quality rice for the sheer deliciousness factor. I cooked this brown jasmine mixed with a little of the black japonica, and had a glorious purple rice result. Flavourful, and very delicious. I would recommend this rice, as well as purchase again myself. You can't go wrong with Lundberg rice to be frank.
