Description

In our effort to be zero-waste, Make Nice Co. created this Solid Dish Soap using soap scraps that would normally be thrown out. It's coloured using bamboo activated charcoal and works exactly the same way as any of their other Solid Dish Soaps! Completely fragrance-free, vegan and palm oil free. Even our labels are 100% biodegradable and made with plant-based inks with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper. Each cube replaces up to 3 bottles of liquid soap - ditch the plastic!

Directions: Create suds by rubbing the Solid Dish Soap with a brush or loofah. We recommend our Scrubber Brush, Dish Brush or Loofah. Wash and rinse well. Use warm water for best results. Store soap in our Soap Tray to keep dry (and look Nice on your counter).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It smells! I think because of the picture online I thought this was only made of scraps of the unscented bar and the unscented charcoal bar. In fact, it is made of scraps of ALL the bars that Make Nice makes. Mine has a light essential oil smell to it - something “hippy-ish” that I’m not fond of. Next time I’ll stick to buying the unscented bar. Of note, this soap will suds up fantastically if you run it under hot water, but the suds don’t last as long as liquid dish soaps. It’s more of an “apply a little to your dishcloth for each item you wash” type soap. That being said, it still lasts A LONG time! This bar gets 3 stars because of its smell. The unscented bars get 4 stars, as I still keep a bottle of liquid dish soap for when I have many MANY dishes to wash and I want the suds to endure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favourite dish soap! I love the Make Nice Dish Soap bars - and the scrap soap is my favourite (we tried mint eucalyptus also). We’ve purchased several times - works great and it has a nice, clean ‘soap’ scent. Nothing fancy and not perfumed. We also have the soap dish - which i recommend, as it keeps it from moving around and keeps water from draining out onto the counter or other surface. This is my go-to dish soap and I am so glad I make the switch to bar soap. The large bars seem to last us months, so definite value, although a bit more expensive - a little goes a long way.

Once you get a lather going, it pretty simple to use, rather then constantly picking up the soap bottle it makes dishes a little more flowy. I did notice that the chunks of different colour soaps dissolve a different rates but that did not seem to effect how it cleaned

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! Love this plastic-free dish soap! Just put it in a dish by the sink. I'm not choosy with scent (the scent is nice anyways when you get a scent) or colour, so the scrap one works perfectly for me.
