Mucolytic enzyme that helps break down mucous to reduce (symptoms such as) pain, quantity of secretion, inability to perceive smell and stuffy nose from ear, nose and/or throat infections. Proteolytic enzyme that helps reduce and/or relieve post- operative cheek swelling and/or pain after dental surgery. Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve minor pain, swelling and inflammation.
Recommended Dosage: Adults: 1 capsule 1 time per day. Take 2 hours after a meal.
Cautions and warnings:
- Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
- Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a gastrointestinal lesion/ulcer, kidney or liver disorder, or are having surgery.
- Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking anticoagulant/blood thinner or anti-inflammatory medications; or if you are taking any other medications or natural health products, as black pepper/piperine may alter their effectiveness; or if you are taking anticoagulant agents, anti-inflammatory agents, or antibiotics.
Known adverse reactions:
- Stop use if rash, difficulty breathing, hypersensitivity and/or severe allergy occur.
- Some people may experience gastrointestinal discomfort/disturbances.
