As a previous reviewer suggested, I too have what is called "Shift-work Syndrome", which causes persons working nights with constant and dramatic fluctuations in their sleep cycles to experience periodic insomnia. I take this on the days I am most prone to insomnia and it works like a charm, without the drugging affect sleeping pills or travel tabs give you. Good stuff.

I have worked night shift for 20 years. I have suffered from insomnia for 15 of those years. I heard about Melatonin from a co-worker. I started taking 3 mg, moved to 5mg and am now on to 10mg. It acts like Lorazepam (Ativan) or a Benzodiazipine (relaxant).. it helps me shut down my brain when I can't seem to do it myself. Take too much of this stuff and it has the opposite effect. Give it a try if you are traveling, or are a night shift worker. HIGHLY recommend for sleep aid that is non-addictive and all natural.
