Time to quit

I averaged about 5-7 cigarettes a day. I was using them to slowly kick out the smoking habit.
Honestly, the flavour doesn't last very long, but it helps with cravings quickly. Has a weird tongue tingling when I use it. I mostly need to use them throughout work or when I can't smoke.
I haven't had a smoke in over 10 days.
For me, it took 2 boxes of this gum, and a lot of willpower to reduce the daily intake of gum and have to stay away from smokers.

I've never tried the gums for quitting smoking but I know people who have, they've said it's gross, doesn't work etc. I received the Nicorette Gum for free in the mail and the first cigarette craving I had I decided to try it out, I was so surprised that it alleviated my craving right away and tasted really good. If I had coupons or found it on sale I would buy it, However at full price it's a little much for me, I would recommend it though for those that can afford it or if people find it on sale. There is also a few flavours to choose from which is awesome!

It WORKS!

The first thing that I noticed was the taste and quite frankly it isn't the greatest of flavors. I am more of a fruity flabour kind of gal. But I can state with 100% certainty that this product does work! I've gone from smoking a full pack a day, down to 5 cigarettes!! And I do believe that if I continue with this product, I could quit smoking entirely! It helped dealing with just basic cravings throughout the day, quite quickly i might add, and more impressively, in stressful situations! I will be purchasing it again, however I'm more inclined to try a different flavour.

Right Tool for the Job
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received a free box of 2mg Fresh Fruit Nicorette Gum and in exchange I agreed to use it and provide an honest review. After biting down one a piece, I could taste the nicotine and I felt it enter my body almost immediately. This gum had a really pleasant orange flavor; it reminded me of a spicy orange Tic Tac. For the two days I used it, It kept my cravings in check, I had no withdrawal symptoms and I did not smoke. I was very impressed by the effectiveness so I ordered more. I think this is the tool I need that will finally help me quit for good.

I LOVE Nicorette gum, too much!
I quit smoking 15 years ago. I was a 20 year pack a day smoker. I don’t think my willpower alone would have been enough. Nicorette gum helped reduce my cravings, until the cravings for the gum far surpassed the craving to smoke. I despise everything about cigarettes now, the smell is extremely distasteful and I would never consider smoking again. Try as I might, I can’t seem to break the Nicorette habit. I gave this product 5 stars in every category because it 100% helped me quit smoking. I would caution users to follow the directions explicitly (I didn’t), stick with it and kick the smoking habit.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried the Nicorette sample pack as I have been wanting to cut down,and then quit smoking. When the day arrived that I started on my program I used the gum to help reduce my cravings. The taste was better than I had expected and I was able to out wait my cravings that crept up on me as I reduced my smoking. I would use the gum at a point where the cravings were there but before they became too intense to subdue. In my case it seems to be working however I only have 3 days in to the program.

This gum helped me quit
I couldn't have quit smoking if it hadn't been for this gum, it did take me quite a while to stop using the gum but the trade off was great. I am at present not using the gum but have considered having some around just in case I am tempted which I have but I am smoke free now 8 months. I would definitely recommend this product.

Fresh Fruit Flavor Gum
You know what? I really like this gum! I am currently on the patch and the gum works fairly well for those really tough cravings. I wish it worked a little faster and that's my only complaint. There is a spray that work's in 60 seconds but it is absolutely revolting (see my other reviews for more on that!) but the gum which by the way you do NOT chew like regular gum, does the trick in about 5-10 minutes I'd say it starts to work.
You put a piece in and chew it just a couple times then put it in between your gum and cheek. I guess it gets absorbed that way. after about 5 minutes I give it a couple more chews then "park" it again. The piece is said to last for about a half hour but there's times I actually forget its there and it lasts me much longer if I'm not chewing on it too much. By the time you've done your second chew it's working I guess so maybe that's why I sometimes forget.
I tried the Fresh Fruit flavor and I like it. I should add I'm not a fan of "fruity" gum but this was all they had. It surprised me in that the flavor is really good and not that sickeningly sweet phony fruit flavor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to kick the habit. It's been a week today and the patch along with the gum have helped me stay smoke free!

Works when you need extra help with cravings.
I found it very helpful in controlling my urge to smoke. I like the convenience of being able to chew the gum wherever I might be and it keeps my breath feeling fresh, I just wish the flavour lasted longer. I would definitely recommend using this product to assist in quitting smoking.

Not a bad taste, easy to use and take with you

Helped with Cravings

I didnt mind the taste or texture of the gum, I chew regular gum very often so it was hard to remember to chew slightly then use it sublingual and repeat. It did help with cravings in the moment, not sure if it was because of the nicotine or the mindfulness of doing something other than smoking or the intention of replacing a cigarette. I am not sure if I just wasnt ready to quit at this moment, I did before for 2 years and it was harder than any other substance I have quit. I would love to be a non smoker again so hopefully I can find something that works in the future when I am fully committed to quitting

I have tried Vaping, the nicoderm patch, and nothing seemed to work to help me stop smoking the actual cigarette. One day I said, Enough! And i told my boyfriend to go pick me up some nicorette instead of smokes. Well, it's been over a month of no-smoking, and I am very pleased. My mother is also a heavy smoker, and when I asked her to try my gum to cut the craving, she told me she had tried the gum YEARS ago, and it had tasted disgusting back then and she didn't want to try it. Finally, she tried one and couldn't believe how good it tasted, compared to "years" ago. Anyways 10/10 for me!

the new mint flavour is an improvement over the original orange flavour. if you are serious about quitting these can convince you, i only chew a small piece at a time because they are loaded with what your body is craving. do not let children use them and keep away completely from small pets.
