Instructions for Use: Nicorette Gum is a medicine that can help you stop smoking by reducing withdrawal symptoms and nicotine cravings. It can be used to quit immediately (Stop to Quit) or to quit gradually (Reduce To Quit) by reducing the number of cigarettes you smoke each day. To increase your chances of quitting, use with a stop smoking support program as identified in the enclosed User Guide. Nicorette Gum can help double your chances of quitting successfully. Although quitting smoking is preferable, Nicorette Gum can also be used as part of a Reduce To Quit program in which it is used to reduce the number of cigarettes smoked prior to quitting in smokers who are not able or ready to quit abruptly.
It can also be used in cases in which you temporarily refrain from
smoking, for example, in smoke-free areas or in other situations when
you wish to avoid smoking. If the amounts of Nicorette Gum you are
taking do not help you stop smoking, talk with your healthcare provider
about using more than one type of nicotine replacement therapy at the
same time.

Nice to have a variety of flavors.
Nicorette is the best product to help the quitting process for me because it gives me the nicotine when I need it without the other chemicals. It also helps the habit of motions, meaning you can become accustom to not using hand to mouth habit.

Tastes better than ever!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My spouse has smoked since a youth and is still trying to quit - 30 years later. He has not gotten there yet, but the new Nicorettes surprised him. He felt the flavour was much better and longer lasting than previous versions, and they helped to dramatically reduce his daily number of cigarettes. Hopefully, with further use they will diminish to nothing. Thanks for the new taste and long lasting flavour - kudos!

Fruity Flavored Fuel!

I was planning to quit soon, you know how that goes, but between the gum and the mist spray, I fully committed to saying see ya never much earlier and am achieving results waaaay faster than I ever have doing it on my own. The fruity flavored gum tastes decent (yes, I was concerned about fake/stale taste before I tried it), easy to carry and discreet to pop one in whenever you need. The cravings stop fairly quickly and last! Two thumbs up.

So I tried the pill again and didnt work, so Ive been looking for alternatives to support my quit smoking goal. I was somewhat skeptical of Nicrorette Gum, but after personally using the gum I am sold this could work to help me quit smoking. Nicorette Gum does help control my cravings. It provides me the support I need to obtain my goal of reducing ny cigarette use and ultimately quitting for good.

Cuts down cravings
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I#gotitforfree sample to try out in the mail. I am in the process of quitting smoking so was really excited to try this gum out. I tried the gum for a few days before writing this review. I mostly used it at work to cut down on possible cravings during work hours and it worked well. I managed to go through my day without any smoking, a few craving here and there,but was able to control by munching on the gum. As I am on a plan to gradually reduce the smoking, I have not used the gum as a full stop to smoking but as an aid. Worked like a charm, taste is ok, fruit gum, not my favorite, but it does not taste bad. Will continue to buy for a while longer until my plan is complete.

Really helped me curb my smoking

Gum that does what it says it can
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a really good product that does work. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there that say it doesnt. Just like most products that are intended to help you quit something, you actually have to want to quit in order for it to work properly, and be sure to read the instructions. I have been a pack a day smoker for just under 30 years since giving Nicorette a try, and doing it according to the instructions given I have cut all the way back to a pack lasting me 5-7 days now. My only issue is with the price point, its got a high price tag on it, but even so, I am going to continue to get it because I am looking forward to kicking a long time bad habit finally.

Overall it is a good product
I have tried the citrus flavour (orange?) and the initial taste was great but within a minute the gum was burning the inside of my mouth but not in a cinnamon taste way. It did not feel good at all and I myself did not feel good. Most definitely the nicotine just hit my system. I'm down to 2 cigarettes a day and I do smoke one of the lightest smokes, it is possible I just got over loaded. I don't know.
For myself I won't try this again but I know it helped a lot of people I know to quit, so yes I would recommend it to others and I know it works.

Excellent
This is an amazing product, if used properly it can and will single handly help anyone to stop smoking.
The only problem I see with this product is the cost. Quite often when we are ready to quit there may or may not be obstacles in our way.
Many do not have the finances to maintain using this product for the duration that it is needed.
My addiction to cigarettes is horrific and the first time I quit I used this for an extended period (almost a year) under a doctors care. The positive far out weighed the negative for using it that long however it was successful.
Unfortunately after three years of quiting I experienced a horrific stressor and am now trying to quit again.
This product is very costly, if not covered by insurance.

Easy to use...taste is not too bad, certainly helps to control cravings!
Love the convenient packaging, can take the pack or just a few pieces with me, on the go.
The flavours have improved a LOT and are much more agreeable to use.
Will be using this to stop smoking in the next few weeks.

I admit I have bummed the occasional smokefromy neighbour, but basically, if I don't have any smokes, the gum really does take away my craving....yey...thank you for the sample. I did find that the taste/flavour of the gum was quite strong, and actually made my stomach hurt, but it DID help me to not smoke as much, which is what it is supposed to do. So next time I will buy a different flavour and try again!

This product is needed for a sucessful cestation program.
