Not for me
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this free product to test and review. I have tried Nicorette products before, including the gum and didnt enjoy it. However, I did enjoy the fruity flavour of this gumbo personally dont find this method to be effective as you still crave the nicotine so you will never get rid of the addiction. While this product did not work for me, I would still recommend anyone try. Everyone is different. Perhaps if I would have more than just the one package of nicorette to try maybe it would have been more effective but I did not notice a difference for myself. The taste is alright but quickly becomes stale. I may try another nicorette product in the near future.

Helps with quitting
I’ve smoked for close to 10 years. In the last 4 years I was vaping along with smoking to cut the smoking down. It seemed to work until I realized how short of breath I became, and realized just how bad vaping was. I started using the gum instead of vaping and so far it’s cut the craving for that. Still have cravings to smoke and occasionally give in. All in all defiantly helps. Except the price. And i’m a bit concerned I’ll become addicted to the gum.

The fruit flavour was surprisingly good. The product itself helped with my cravings and helped reduce the amount I smoke in a day. Very easy to use, just pop it out of the blister pack , chew and toss when you are done with it. I highly recommend it to anyone trying to quit smoking!

WORK FOR ME

During my first month of quitting smoking I used the 4mg and am now almost at my three month milestone and am using the 2mg less than 5 times per day. I'm already considering the time to eliminate Nicorette gum. As a recovering fifteen year smoker, I'm feeling confident that this product has helped me kick my habit and is helping me live my best life.also my kids were happy and safe.

Limited exposure. First piece of gum made me nauseous.
I just tired my first piece of gum, and immediately felt a burning sensation in my throat, I continued chewing and the burning increased. As I swallowed I began to get sick to my stomach. I was going to continue, but I began coughing and gaging and had to spit the gum out.
Sorry I can't give a better review, but I appreciate the opportunity to try the product. I've considered purchasing in the past, but unfortunately that seems unlikely now.

Nicorette Gum - Helpful or Not?

I have always heard about Nicorette Gum but had never given it a chance. I was delightfully surprised at how effective it was in deterring cravings and its taste was actually not bad!

Pretty Good
I tried a sample sent to my house when I was on an extended flight. I will say this, the flavors have come a long way in recent years, it tasted pretty good. The gum did the trick fighting my cravings while on the flight, for sure. In my personal opinion, its good in a pinch. Prolonged use to quit smoking might not render the same complimentary review. That being said, I have not tried Nicorette gum as a longer term stop-smoking aid.

I recently had surgery and had my teeth removed to have dentures put in. Since that time I can not chew any gum because it sticks to my dentures everywhere and is so frustrating toi get it off, I will have to stick to using the patch or something elde that I dont have to chew

Best alternative

After, I leave it on my gums and it continuously releases nicotine over an hour. It has reduced my cravings a lot when Im trying to quit. Over the next few days I slowly eat less and less pieces. I didnt even notice it but over time I stopped reaching for a one until I actively think about it

A great substitute for cigarettes!

My partner advised that when he had a craving, the gum worked well, almost instantly, to get rid of his cravings. He has tried to quit before and would get very irritable, but when he used the Nicorette Gum those withdrawal symptoms weren't as prominent.

Taste is Great!!!

It does leave a little after taste in your mouth but it isnt terrible and goes away. I can definitely say i have cut way back on my smoking and hoping to be completely quitting in less then a month. I most definitely will be going to buy more.

The flavour of extreme chill is really good and it lasts a long time. I have chewed this gum for many years, I stopped smoking, but now I’m addicted to the gum. I find quitting this gum is just as hard as quitting smoking. It has wore my teeth right out and I find it expensive.

As soon as i had an urge to smoke I popped one of these gums in my mouth and it actually helped a lot. Still has the bitter/spicy aftertaste while chewing but prefer the fruit fusion was way better than the original or mint. Id recommend trying it. Especially for the gum chewers

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I started on the 4 mg patch, gum and spray. Cigarettes are gradually reduced, and now there are 3 cigarettes a day. I no longer use patches, only gum and sprays. Being as active as possible certainly helps, but with winter on the horizon, I worry that I might increase my cigarette intake due to boredom. I had to figure out a way to keep myself occupied.

Surprisingly good taste

This one was flavoured as fresh fruit and I find it tasted similar to fruit-filled gum. I've only tried it for less than 2 weeks so I can't speak to wether it's effective or not but I'll keep using it and hope for the best.

Having a fire with friends came easier as I was able to pop the gum and carry on with my night.

Great Product

Starting this product off at first didn't seem to be working at first but after a few days I started seeing a difference in the amount of cigarettes I would smoke. Good flavor

Although it takes my attention out of grabbing a cigarette. I just don't like to have to change it in my mouth from side to side for the product to be diffused properly. I would prefer just be able to chew it like a regular gum.
