I usually use Abundance Naturally for my baby, but this is my "emergency cream." I use it only if the rash is very bad (which to Abundance's credit, has not happened for a long time). Years ago, when my hands were bleeding and chapped, I used this a couple of times, and it worked so well. It healed them enough that I could get out of the "rut" and start using gentler creams again.

This worked well on some of my baby's diaper rash, however the thickness of it makes application more difficult. It is so thick that if there are any weepy spots on the rash, it won't stick; it only sticks to the unaffected skin. I switched to sudocrem which is more creamy and spreadable and works well. I'll definitely keep using this, but only in certain cases. It wasn't as perfumy as the sudocrem though, which I definitely appreciate

I tried this with my first, 14 years ago, and it worked really well, but he never had much diaper rash. I tried a different brand I was given as a gift with our current foster child, who had diaper rash from the beginning, possibly exacerbated by being formula-fed. When I switched to the good, old-fashioned Penaten, it cleared right up. We have to use it every day, but I will happily do that until he's toilet trained if it means I never have to see that horrible, red, broken skin on that cutie's bum!

Quickly gets rid of my babies diaper rash. I tried two different kinds before this that were organic all natural products. They both made my babies diaper rash worse. I think it was the lavender oil that they both contained.
Like my Mother said, sometimes the old fashioned remedy is the best.
