It does not taste like vanilla, but rather all I smell is the alcohol. I'd try another brand.

Difficult to find
Happy to discover that Simply Organic got Pure vanilla extract, it is quite a challenge to find pure vanilla extract in Canada. It is costly but make a big difference in all recipes who ask for vanilla'
