Treat for Gestational Diabetes
I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes despite having a good diet. This happens more than you think and for me it wasn't so bad until the holidays hit which lined up with the third trimester. To not act on ANY cravings was driving me nuts and I happened to find these. Whenever my sugar was lower at night I'd treat myself to a package of these which really made my night :) I wish I had found them sooner. They aren't too sweet and the berry flavour was spot on for me.

I really wanted to like these but I thought they tasted pretty gross! I realize they weren't going to taste anything like the traditional "Swedish Fish" that people might want to compare them to, but Smart Sweets are in a taste category of their own...and it's an acquired taste. My body doesn't handle sugar very well and I was really hoping to find an alternative to regular candy, but these are not it. Guess I'll have to try different kinds. It's really too bad they don't taste good because I like the ingredients, the fiber content, and the whole concept of this candy brand.

So good!! They taste sweet and have a good flavour. At first I was thrown as there is a slightly different look from the Swedish fish but these are so good! And the afterward feel is content rather than needing another sweet snack an hour later. I would eat these every day, but the drawback is the price. Highly recommend!

Sweet fish! So good!
Chewier than the gummy bears, all berry flavoured (which I love). They stick to your teeth a bit, but as you get use to the texture you work with it. I add my own citric acid to them and shake em up, makes them the perfect sour candy. Wish there was atleast 3 more a bag, obviously that would disrupt the sugar content. I also miss some of the ingredients from the original gummies. But still. They are delicious. Highly recommend these, mostly because there is absolutely nothing better on the market yet, period. Shipping is on the average-to-slow side. Company response to email could be much quicker, I waited 3 days to hear back when I just asked a simple shipping question prior to placing an order.

You're not listening to your keto customers
Your keto customers are deeply disappointed in the recipe change of your sweet fish et al. You can't ignore the feedback you're receiving from your keto tribe just because of a segment of your customer base that you call your North Star wanted a recipe change. This is an issue and Tara, you need to listen and respond better. Why not keep both recipes and let your customers choose what they want instead of continuing to tell people about the benefits of your new recipe and disregard the fact that you've boxed out your keto customer base. This is a grave mistake with a young, successful brand that has been adored by the keto population as well. Please don't ignore our feedback as part of your North Star.

bring back the original recipe
I'm absolutely devastated that you have changed this recipe. not only have the carbs gone up so I can no longer enjoy these on my low carb diet but the flavour is all wrong. the texture is gross now and it sticks to my teeth. I don't feel good eating these, it is a treat I no longer desire. Please bring back the original recipe. Sometimes things are great as is and don't need changing. Maybe you don't know this but coke tried changing their recipe once and it was a disaster so they Brought back their original recipe and the name Coca Cola classic was reborn. Now I am not suggesting coke is healthy but your original smart sweets were low in sugar and tasted great, why did you mess with that? don't buy!!! too expensive for nothing now

Sadly Not a Fan of the New Recipe
I used to absolutely love the Sweet Fish and I was obsessed with them. Unfortunately, I don't like the new recipe as much. For me personally, it seems to taste more artificial and I unfortunately don't taste as much of the Berry flavour anymore that I used to taste. I'm also not a fan of the slight slimy / oily texture they seem to have now. Maybe it's just me :male_sign: Still good, just not nearly as good as they used to be. To each their own though. Still love Smart Sweets overall and will still buy these even though I miss the old recipe.

These are just okay imho, they're kind of missing a tantalizing taste - a little bland; I think they could use way more flavour, such as a sharp cherry or raspberry. Sure looooove the other candies by this brand, they are truly addictive, soooo yummy!
