As I aged and stopped producing enough digestive enzymes naturally, I used to get heartburn ever night after supper, didn't matter what I ate. I tried prescriptions for it but they had side effects. This spectrum of digestive enzymes is a miracle. Since I reached my mid-40s some years ago, I've been able to eat fewer and fewer foods. I tried single enzymes like lactaid, which helped a little, but really the problem seemed to be bigger than that.
