This early spring harvest yields all the benefits of matcha plus a
delightfully smooth character. This matcha is harvested and produced
from early spring buds and tender young tea leaves. Two Hill's matcha tea
plants are grown in partial sunlight (i.e. they are covered with a
canopy) a few weeks each spring, boosting the amount of clorophyl in the
leaves; hence the very high concentration of anti-oxidants.
Delicious on its own, but can also enliven smoothies, ice cream or lattes.
