Vicks NyQuil Kids Cough & Cold Syrup Honey

Temporarily relieves cold symptoms: nasal congestion & pressure, dry cough, runny nose & sneezing. Ages 6+

Do not take more than directed (see liver warnings).

Recommended Dosage: Adults and children 12 years and over: Dissolve contents of one packet into 236 mL (1 cup) of hot water and stir briskly; sip while hot. Consume entire drink within 10-15 minutes. Take one packet (dose) every 4 hours. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours. Children under 12 years: do not use. Temporarily relieves cold and flu symptoms: minor aches & pains, sore throat pain, fever, headache, dry cough due to minor throat & bronchial irritation, dry cough, nasal congestion, sinus congestion & pressure.

Caution: Do not use: with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (drugs for depression or Parkinsons disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product; to make a child sleep; for longer than 7 days; if the child is allergic to any of the ingredients; with any other cough and cold medications since serious harm may occur. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child has: heart or thyroid disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, glaucoma, chronic lung disease or other chronic lung conditions, difficulty in urination; is pregnant or breastfeeding; is taking other medications, including natural health products, prescription drugs or non-prescription drugs. When using this product: may cause drowsiness or excitability; alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness; do not engage child in activities requiring mental alertness; side effects may include: allergic reaction, breathing difficulties, convulsions, drowsiness, hallucinations, and rapid heart rate; read the complete label prior to use and follow all label instructions; do not exceed recommended daily dose; overdose may result in serious harm. Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms last for more than 7 days, worsen or the child gets fever (>38ҰC); symptoms are accompanied by the production of thick yellow/green phlegm; allergic reactions such as wheezing, rash or itching develop. These could be signs of a serious condition. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
