Walker's Stem Ginger Shortbread is the perfect balance of sugar and spice. These stem ginger shortbread cookies are made using the same baking technique created by their founder – Joseph Walker – over 100 years ago.
These luxury biscuits are baked in the secluded village of Aberlour, Speyside, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. They are produced to a traditional recipe to which we have added liberal amounts of succulent stem ginger. Walkers personally guarantee that this product is made using only the finest ingredients possible to obtain and contains no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives

Was looking all over for these at a reasonable price. Got these as a gift for my dad and he loved them!! Candied stem ginger pieces are plentiful and very tasty

I like strong flavours and these cookies are definitely super ginger-y. They're a bit sweet for me personally (I often use 1/3-1/2 of the sugar in any sweet recipe), but most people will probably enjoy the sweetness level. I ended up eating half at a time which made them last longer, so no complaints!
