"Wild Tusker" Organic Ceylon Cinnamon is the true cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) which the quills are multilayered and golden brown in colour. It has a more refined and subtle unique fragrance and a delicate texture.
Unlike Cassia, (commonly available cinnamon in the market) Ceylon Cinnamon contains a negligible amount of "coumarin" (A naturally occuing plant component that can have strong anticoagulant properties).

The perfect coffee addition!
I’ve been using this Ceylon cinnamon powder in my morning coffee and absolutely love it. It adds a smooth cinnamon flavor without being overpowering, and it blends beautifully into both hot and iced drinks.
I recently used it in a brown sugar cinnamon iced latte, and it took the flavor to the next level. The taste is lighter and more delicate than the cinnamon I was using before, which makes it perfect for coffee. I’ve also started using it in baking and have been really happy with the results.

A New Favourite for My Iced Lattes
I've been adding Wild Tusker Organic Ceylon Cinnamon to my homemade iced lattes lately, and it's such a simple way to make them feel a little more special. I love the warm aroma and naturally sweet flavour it adds without being overpowering. One thing I appreciated learning is that Ceylon cinnamon is often referred to as "true cinnamon" and contains lower levels of coumarin than the more common cassia cinnamon. I also like that it's organic and contains no fillers or additives. I've been reaching for it more and more this summer, and it's quickly become one of my favourite additions to my coffee routine. The swap I’ll never undo!
Once you learn that Ceylon cinnamon is actually different from the cinnamon most of us grew up using, you can't go back. Regular cassia cinnamon contains higher levels of coumarin which isn't something I want in my daily routine — Ceylon is the real deal, and Wild Tusker's organic version is the one I keep coming back to.
I used it in my cinnamon pull-apart loaf and it was incredible. I also stir it into my coffee every single morning — the flavour is warmer and more delicate than what you're used to, and it just makes everything taste better.
But honestly what sold me beyond the quality is the mission. A portion of every sale goes to an elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka. Organic, non-GMO, and supporting endangered elephants — why would you buy anything else? This one's a kitchen staple and it feels good to use it.
